The ammo is from the 1970s-1990s, that's the packaging they used to come in until 1997, the ammo can is probably older, like Vietnam era I'd say.
.22 mini are 1980s-1990s
.380 is 1980s-1990s
9mm is 1960s-1980s
Jeff and my dad found full ammo cans, you were there for both 😆
Did you catch the bland, probably military-issue 5.56 boxes in there?
@@Bjornieman That ammo can looks a bit rusty, but it does not look military issued, looks like either surplus ammo can for .30 cal browning machine gun or some sort of civilian can.
They are all pistol rounds (9mm and 380 being for mag fed handgun and .22 mini used for revolvers(Pocket sized)
@@TheMagnetizer look again: at 4:09 you can see a white box labeled "30 RD 5.56 x 45mm BALL" in there, next to the big box of 9mm.
@@Bjornieman 5.56x45 ballistics is civilian ammo for the AR-15; military issue 5.56 is typically the M855A1 5.56 ballistic ammunition for the M4 Carbine and M16a2. The ammo they found in that ammo can is M193 standard 5.56x45mm ball for the AR-15. military do not us M193 5.56, the m193 is civilian based ammo, they are in Chicago, could be a small group of people bought some ammo and ditched it in the river after Chicago changed their gun laws in the 1980s.
I missed both of the 5.56 boxes, thanks for pointing that out, when I saw the ammo can in person, I only got to seethe 9mm and .22 mini.
almost 100k! be careful with all those razor blades and other sharp things. walmart/amazon has sharps containers you can get for disposal of that stuff. all that ammo was a hell of a find.
Like the video. That's the 81 Lawrence Ave Bus in your video. The location is Lawrence Ave and the North Branch of the Chicago River (Appr 2900 W Lawrence). I canoed that section of the river many years ago. I was suprised that the ammo box was intact espically in the frozen water during all those winters.
I love the ammo can find. Happy for You and Jeff. Have Fun. Peace Out ❤️
Congrats Jeff on the camo can thats not cheap! Total score!
I'm imagining the non Americans watching this just all confused over the celebration over free bullets! 😆 this is the most "Mercia" find ever lol
Nice finds. You two work well together.
I love how you guys are so excited and like dividing them up on the spot! lol
Nice fishing today. The red things are what we call "Cow Bell's" thier for concrete form work. Also you pulled up a strong tie, another concrete form product. Nice find on the ammo box.
Whaler clamp?
Congrats on the ammo can full of ammo!!!!! What a find
A. Columbia. Bike. 🏞️
A. End. 4. A. Mop. 🌾
That ammo can was a goldmine of a find 👍👍👍
When you see cloth hook on to metal it could be a possibility a body was hook on to the heavy object to sink it , so I believe a skeleton remains could be there when I saw that. You guys are doing a great job and I believe it can help in lots of police investigations of missing people and other crimes
Jeff with the finds today that ammo crate find was fire
Helluva slick on that river.
gosh, every throw found something interesting! keep it up! the ammo box/contents was a fun find.
The chrome ring is not for a door knob it’s a trim ring for a plumbing drain where the pipe enters the wall
I enjoy watching you find things
You two looked like you found gold with the amo you found. Thanks for sharing and cleaning up our environment 🙂.Keep up entertaining us with what you find.
In Germany you'd report that to the police, even if you could use it in a sports weapon you own ... but America, where you can buy Ammo in Walmart - won't be necessary, I suppose.
That's sad all that oil looking crud in the water
Awesome Day Guys!!!! Well Done!!!! Thanks Guy!!!! 👍😎
I figured in Chicago you could throw a bucket in and pull up a bunch firearms.
Ammo crates are made of wood, ammo cans are made of steel. Two ammo cans are usually packed into an ammo crate for shipping.
You are close to 100k good job man I love ur videos!!
You're not supposed to step on the top of ladders like that. When they are new, they usually have stickers indicating "this is not a step"
It looks like you're fishing in a sewer!
THE CROWD GOES WILD! IS IT... IT'S JEFF WITH A STEEL CHAIR! 🤣
If you want to find a lot of stuff work the bridges from there towards Gary Indiana.
Most of his videos are in Gary and around Gary
Excited for both of you the ammo find was epic, but celebrate quietly. If Chicago is as bad as they say now, there will be ears and eyes everywhere. Such a shame, was in Chicago 35 years ago for big conference and it was such a beautiful city, I walked down the street with some friends following a crowd, only to find myself at a free concert listening to
Cab Calloway, amazing. Wonder if this city can be saved
lol sick find of that amo crate, i didn't think the seal in those would last that long
Hello Dani & Jeff, awesome as usual!!!
You should try the Bemont Avenue bridge over the Chicago River. I counted probably eight scooters, two bikes, two shopping carts and more off the south side.
Always gota love free ammo,, and I keep most of my stash ammo In mill ammo cans,,cuz yeah they are that good at sealing
There used to be a razor manufacture north of Chicago
Kool finds fellas 🤘
Its allwas good findin stuff you can use .
Yo any chance I could join you guys sometime I’m from the Chicago area and love magnet fishing!
I'm about to start
That's one hell of a jackpot
Awesome finds you and Jeff always find the coolest spots! Ammo find is great find and thank you for sharing ♥️! You two look like kids in a candy store when you found the ammo lol
Thanks Deanna

wow so cool all that ammo, holy shiznit man, at least 500 dollars worth of useable ammo, now do more videos around chicago but keep an eye peeled.
Have you ever fished the Des Plaines river. (It runs along the western border of Chicago & suburbs.) If you wanna find guns I'll bet you'll find a lot there.
Cool finds guys!!! can't wait to ear you giving me a shout out with my sticker 🤣
900 Likes..Looks like ya'll are going back to magnet fish that that wall right there 5:59
Wow a Columbia Bicycle, depending on the year of it, it's pretty rare, think Peewee Herman had one of those
Make a video of you guys shooting that ammo!
Awesome but I agree, not so loud
Wonderful work you both are doing , Dani and Geoff .....one thing I would like to suggest that when you find very old vehicles which are nearly chewed up completely......you can call authorities because they have forensic doctors who can dive and search the rotten vehicles for human remains and match with missing persons blood group or d n a samples in labs and may be they may find evidence of person lost years ago .....by this chance of finding missing person becomes more possible than just leaving that vehicle alone.......try it I am sure almighty allah can turn anything impossible to possible....thanks for the video of treasure hunting by magnet fishing....best of luck .....keep up the good work.
Awesome finds bro
Loven it!! ♥️♥️♥️
Great finds
You should go to the bridge on the south side of the fire department in downtown Kokomo and magnet fish on the east south side. You'll find some interesting things in there pew pew
Awesome!!😎
nice Video that ammo reate was jack pot awesome one
I got one of those chairs in Florida just covered in Barnacles!
Shows ya just how good and water-tight US military ammo cans are!
Sorry bro I missed the stream but I'm watching now like button is hit have a great day brother ‼️💯😎
Buckets for the items u find, keeps area clean and tidy
So being from Chicago, if you guys were planning on keeping that, you should have maybe opened it up to see what was inside. When you saw it was ammo you should close it back up and take that stuff to your car. Preferably your trunk.
#quadstatecameras
There was a razor blade factory in that neighborhood 50 years ago.
Great video stay safe guys
I'm really surprised the police didn't stop to ask WTF y'all was doing! Get back around fort Wayne again I'll join ya!
Columbia bicycles were made for about 114 years from 1880 until 1991
Nice score on the ammo👍 Always great to see you and Jeff together💖💖!!!!!!!
Awesome.
That water is really nasty with that oil on the top. I don't think I would be rowing a boat or docking one in that polluted pseudo sewer.
Wow amazing finds. Enjoyed your video 😀
at 10:57 is that a part of an industrial mixer.
Good video guys
Hi! from another "GANGSTA" city, Toledo, Ohio
What a stash.
Note to self: do not store bugout stash under the bridge…
Chicago will be the best place to mag. fishing you will find dead head and body's, any type of gun's, cars, treasures.
Razor Blade central!
Holy smokes
Great finds, especially the ammo box, you did hit the jackpot. Was there any .357 that's what I need. Good job
Shops around northeast Indiana have tons...I hated the past couple years trying to find anything that wasn't way over priced! Good luck brah!
Use 38's
Nice oil slick on that water.☠
Great find. Got ammo ? You guy’s do.
Watch out for people in boats.
Obviously Wisconsin ammo. Beetle juice beetle juice beetle juice
Columbia Bicycles were made by Columbia Manufacturing in Massachusetts, I think. They quit making bikes in the late 1980s or so. Columbia bikes in good shape fetch a good price, that one not so much.
congrats on the Ammo but is it legal to keep it? I have been thinking of trying magnet fishing and hope to find a Ammo can. so it is legal to kept?
Jeff could do norm mcdonald impersonations
I hate when one of my boats is sanken. Lol
Come on Dani.....Columbia......lol
NEW ARRIVALS
We don’t have any products to show here right now.
When the boat went thru there was a huge oil slick and more after that and you guys never mentioned it
That’s actually just how the water looks. If you travel up stream and down its the same. Humans suck
spells the entire word "columbia" i cant read that XD
Hey ies there any chance ta you will come back to Milwaukee
Would love to buy the 22 mini’s
I see that other magnet fishers use plastic scrap like you use in the winter to scrap off the magnet. Think that been a good idea here Dani. Really bad of you cut yourself on the blade like that.
COLUMBIA LOL
Columbia
Bike Frame
What bike brand is spelled "COLUMBIA"? ;-)
Hmmmmm. Lol
I'm glad you are always wearing gloves now. It always concerned me when you all were doing this without them. It's just NOT SAFE.
Wow ...a lot of razor blades
Lots of razor blades that they leave all over the sidewalk! So considerate.
Cast nets are nasty!
If you found a sock full of sand...is it attatched to the licence pltae to sink it and hide identification?
Columbia bicycle frame very expensive
Lots of oil on the water. Very pullute
Kaplan Louisiana
👍
You really need to clean that magnet off
Use the other magnet to help you lift heavy items?
I still think that the cities should pay you for cleaning up the rivers.
