The scarf you bought is actually from the hockey club, not from the football club. But Servette HC is also quite successful this season. They won the regular season and will now play in the playoff final against EHC Biel (and if they manage to win this, that would be their first swiss championship title).
Switzerland also has trains for FOOTBALL fans only. I believe it's free with your match ticket as well. They do things so much better than we do in the UK. Pyro is technically illegal however as long as it's not thrown on the pitch it's allowed.
Exactly you have trains for away games but you need to pay a train ticket for it. The train stops near of the stadium (behind the visitors sector) and in the main rail station of Geneva and go straight to the stadium where Servette plays. It's very funny with the Servette fans because somethimes they do barbecue or Raclette inside the train during the journey :)
Pyros are not allowed the Police is watching the entire time when they can identify you you will get an bann from the stadion and you get an penalty ip to 10 K
The song at 9:55 is called the "Cé qu'è lainô". It's the regional anthem of Geneva. And finally the wolf is an animal from the zoo who's Servette's sponsor for the yellow and red cards.
I’m acc from Geneva and have been a fan for a while it’s so nice to see others discover the club. You should come back for the champions league matches
Happy that you enjoyed a Swiss game, just started watching your videos because I started to play FM23 and I really like what you are doing ! Greetings from Switzerland
Not surprised by this. I went to a Grasshopper Zürich Vs Servette match at the Stadion Letzigrund several years ago. There had been a bit of crowd trouble the weekend before so the stadium was near empty except for around 1000 Servette fans. I was sitting with the near silent few hopper fans present but the Geneva lot were pretty damn lively and made up for the lack of noise at the famous athletics stadium!!!
Aww I'm sad I couldn't make it to my "home" game. But glad you enjoyed yourselves. Regarding the alcohol, beer and wine was always (still is?) OK from 16 years old. Maybe they just thought as you're Alfie's dad then there wouldn't be a problem 😂
Maybe next year in Non League to Legend you should add smaller European leagues as stepping stones for you after National League just to get an excuse to travel more to nice European cities
@@benj23898 Zurich brings more fans than St. Gallen at home? Thats not true. Away they bring more but only bc they won last year the league title. St. Gallen has a huge crowd, without winning any title. You cannot really compare them. We should just appreciate that we have such outstanding crowds in our small league.

Worst/ugliest stadium in switzerland, half of the seats are empty and in the league like third worst. What exactly he wanna see there? When you talk about away fans from Zürich then it's okey but no one want to watch a match in your stadium.
Bro I’m Swiss and I can say we have the worst football in Europe… the level are awful and the fans too. Empty stadium and after all matches there is fights in the streets.
Blimey. 9,000. That's a middling League One sized attendance. Looked like a good game though. I used to enjoy trips to random continental matches before i made the mistake of moving to the colonies.

Best part of these vlogs is seeing you act like a kid in disneyland. You look so excited to be there.
I genuinely love how much you enjoyed yourself! Your smile and enthusiasm is so infectious! Great content as ever, Vin
It was a great game, glad I got to see it and meet up briefly with you and Alfie. Hope you enjoyed Annecy the next day. All the best Keith

What a nice little stadium. Pitch looks very well kept from the camera shots.
Little? It's 30k+ :D The only little thing is the attendance.

Never seen Kev so happy at a football match.
For some context about attendance, Wrexham's last home game, they got close to 10k.
I think we should appreciate the fact pink lady apples were advertised at the second Servette goal!!!
hits different as an bscyb fan to watch this
I had Antunes in my CSKA Moscow save in FM17 which I'm revisiting after 5 years.
That's a horn!? I thought Jimmy Carr was laughing in the crowd.
Surely the culmination of the match vlogs would be to do the Champions League final, since that is the goal of non-league to legend.

Ooh, next year you should bring a decibel meter to see which ground is actually the loudest
