I held the volume down + power button for about 15 to 20 seconds, then pressed the power button as you stated and my phone powered on. Thanks for sharing this great video...😊

I had luck holding powerbutton until it showed the prompt it was dead and plugging it in while that screen was on and pressing power a few times

Same exact experience, freaking out because it was still a fairly new phone mind you I had my alarm that was vibrating in the background while the black screen was showing until I started the power on/off repeatedly
