Another "kakanin" recipe for today! Kutchintang malagkit! Very yummy and easy-to-follow recipe!

Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups warm water
1 1/2 cups glutinous flour
1/2 cup rice flour
1 tbsp lye water
1 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1 tbsp anatto powder
butter for brushing

Yes yes the best recipe I have seen on UA-cam this is trully the original way of making the best kutsinta using glutenous powder and Rice powder.

Thanks for sharing, ive been looking for this kind of kutsinta. The one I remember has a topping same consistency. The bottom is whiter and the topping is orangeybrown. But this is my favorite kutsinta! Thank you!

thanks sa recipe. masssssarap po.. 💖💖💖 eto ung kakanin na ang tagal ng prep pero 15 mins lang ubos na 🤣😂😂 tas ung texture makunat. the best! kso lang mtapang po ata yung lye water na nabili nmen kaya nagdagdag kami ng 1/2 Tbsp na vanilla pambalanse, nakatulong nman po.. maraming salamat again @lv easy cooking
Bawasan mo nalang ng lye water next time kasi ung gamit ko mahinang klase iba iba pala ang timpla niya.

I made this last week, I only added 1 tsp lye water. This is good, I put cheese on top. Next time I’ll add fresh coconut on top para mas pinoy ang dating. Thank you for this easy recipe ❤️

I tried this the other night, and the finished product was exactly the kind of consistency, taste, and texture that I had been looking for. Super sarap. Nasubukan ko na din yung ibang variations mo ng kutsinta, and they were all to die-for, but this one is the best..sana gawa ka naman ng puto.

You can just use 1 tsp lye water, because my lye water that I used probably not that strong, I just bought it in asian store here where I live.😊
Sorry po yong lihiya na ginamit ko dto ay nabili sa asian store at ng maubos na ito sa Filipino store na ako nakabil at very strong kapag 1 1/2 tbsp para sa recipe na ito. Less than 1 tbsp lang ang gamitin lalo na sa mga nasa Pinas kasi talagang legit ang lihiya dyan.

Mas masarap kapag may lye water or lihiya. Pwede rin naman na walang lye water or lihiya. Walang substitute para dito just skip it.😊

Hello po mam, thank you for your sharing. Ginawa ko yung recipe nyu mam. Masarap po talaga. Kaso po sobra Lambot po ng lumabas sa ginawa ko. Pls advise po.
make sure na haluin muna bago ilagay sa tray pan at steam right away kasi tumitining ung starch , nagko-cause un ng pagkalambot masyado ng texture ng kutchinta. Mas matagal ibabad ang mixture mas maganda kung hindi ka nagmamadali 3-6 hours mas magandang resulta at masarap😊

Parang madaming lye solution ang nilagay di ba maglalasang sabon yan.. kasi gumawa kami mga 1 tbsp tapos di makain dahil ang pangit ng lasa.. tanong ko lang gano ba kadami ng lye solution sa isang cup?
Kapag isang cup lang mga 1/2 tsp lye water or bawasan pa ng konti.
1& 1/2 tsp lang ang ilagay mo na lye water yun ang tamang sukat. Hindi mo mkakain kapag 1 & 1/2 tbsp ang inilagay mo.

Ung lye water, tbsp or tsp po? Sa isang recipo mo po kasi tsp lng, tapos dto tbsp? So anong tamang measurement dto po sa recipe na to?
Sa bagong recipe 3/4 tbsp lye water, ung recipe sa old video na ito hindi ganoon ka strong ang lye water ko na gamit, kaya 1 tbsp ang measurement dto. Kapag nasa ibang bansa hindi makakuha ng perfect na lye water. Sorry for that salamat😊❤️
Kung sure ka matapang ang lye water mo 3/4 tbsp lang gamitin mo.❤️
Niluto ko ang kutchinta I followed lahat ng ingredients nuon naluto masarap naman kaya lang sobra ang lambot dapat cguro bawasan ang tubig para medyo mayroon konti kunat next time bawasan ko ng tubig. Thank you
mas matagal na i rest ang mixture mas makunat kailangan kapag ilalagay sa baking pan or container i steam agad kasi tumitining ung starch kaya nagiging watery o masyadong malambot ang texture.😊

at nilagay ko straight away sa steamer then let it cool ko muna bago ko tinikman Panalo sa Taste
ang texture nga ang problema super lambot. Twice checked ko ang recipe tama naman kaya sa tubig o sa dry ingredients na bawasan ang glutinous more sa rice powder yun lang ang nasa isip ko.
