WOW! Thank you for this video! I've been wanting to make a brine soap, but haven't yet. I have made a 100% coconut oil salt soap, just not the brine soap. I appreciate the Maths and work you put into this video so I know I can know what I'm doing when I do it! Great video!
Dead Sea Salt is more minerals than salt and hence it tends to make soap super soft. Over time it can harden up, but in general I don't generally recommend using it. You could try blending it will some other salts. I'd just say experiment with different ratios and see what works best for you!
Soleseifie, not soleselfie... no soap selfies. Thanks again for a detailed tutorial. I keep reading that 25% of TOW in salt works, but I haven't been able to get that much salt to dissolve, however, the brine solution did dissolve it anyway.
Gah...you are right I either mistyped from my notes (probably...cause my handwritten notes had it right) or spell check did weird stuff (which it likes to do too), but I fixed it where I could :) Thanks for catching that. You don't have to use 25% (that's just kind of the max). I think it can depend on the type salt you use too for how easily it dissolves. I've had some batches with a little salt undissolved, but by the time it gets in soap it dissolves or is so miniscule you don't notice it.

You're welcome! I'm glad it was helpful for you!
Cool experiment. I can't wait for your follow up video. 😊
Thank you!
This was very interesting, thank you.
You're welcome :)
Thanks it was a great video
You’re welcome ☺️ glad it was helpful!
You mentioned that one should not use dead sea salt. What exactly would happen if it were added please?

Cannot wait to make. Going to do #3

25% TWW not TOW. That might explain why you can't get it to dissolve.
😂😂
Thank you but way too much math. Good luck to those who can work this out ❤
