when i watch your videos i can understand cantonese because you speak very slowly and i am learn a lot, but when i try watch a movie omg i cant understand the simple 我
I had never heard 夠薑 before! Even if it's not modern slang - my cousin mentioned she hasn't heard it much in Hong Kong - I enjoy learning these phrases.
damn she sounds like one of my aunts! where can we find chinese movies that speak cantonese but also has english subtitles? sort of like the old young & dangerous or stephen chow style subtitles. i can understand most of the common words but still need to take a glimpse of the subtitles every once in a while to double check the harder words

Try to watch movies at the slow speed first. Cantonese is quite fast normally
