I am a business economics student. most of the syllabus of economics optional is covered in my undergrad syllabus, though the readings are a bit different (they include some of the suggested books from the BYJU'S website too like salvatore and varian). Should I take coaching for the optional too or would self study suffice ?
P.S. I would be appearing for UPSC CSE in 2022

Some good books for environment economics
1. Nick Hanley (highly technical and mathematical but the theory content would be sufficient I think)
2. Bhattacharya (its a collection of essays and it gives a good indian perspective)
Oxford press also has a miniseries book regarding an introduction to this subject.
PS: Its a suggestion as these books are used for Masters but I have not seen the syllabus of UPSC.

@Lalji Mishra i dont think you should take econ if you are bcom hons guy coz core economics and commerce actually look similar but it is very different ....economics is otherwise very vast compared to economics that you study in commerce
