What a nice combination of the bodice and skirt.
Such beautiful fabrics! I will be in London in November. Definitely checking out those fabric shops!
Am loving watching "The Making of the Wedding Dress" I've really liked the process and can't wait for the final episode in the series 👗✂️
Thank you Sue! I'm so pleased that you are enjoying the series. I'm hoping to film the final instalment asap!
Really looking forward to seeing your next video with the final wedding outfit and veil. You’ll treasure these memories for a LOT of years! I made my veil and headpiece and I made the train while my mom made my dress (I hemmed it though) but that was November 1970! 😘
Thank you Janice! Oh wow I love that your dress was a team effort between you and your mom. I bet you treasure it and the memories of making it together! x
Beautiful fabrics!
Thank you!
Beautiful fabrics, must go to the Goldhawke Road at some point, its getting exciting
Thank you Julia! The Godlhawk road is SO good for fabric hunting if you are ever in London. I'm so spoiled having access to lots of fabric shops. If I'm honest though it's shops like Ray Stitch and Sew Over It that are my favourite - more expensive but a lovely shopping experience!
Omg your choices are stunning ❤️❤️❤️ awesome 👏🏽
Thank you so much Melissa!
Really like all the wedding series videos!! Diy and dress🥰. Could you make an update on your chloe coat because I’m starting mine and I really want to make it right. Thanks a lot!!! 🤗
uh oh.... I still haven't finished by Chloe Coat! How terrible is that!! I think I need autumn to hit and then I'll be inspired to finally finish it. I think I"m a bit disheartened as even once I've fixed the issues with the zip it looks like it's going to be far too big. I really do want to finish it though!
I love your diy wedding series! I imagine I'll be thinking about your process when I next think about making a special dress ( but they are all special, aren't they?)
aw your comment makes me so happy! I'm excited to make more special dresses in the future.
I am so looking forward to seeing your completed wedding dress. You choices of material look amazing. Would you mind telling me if you made the outfit you are wearing in the video and if so. Is it a dress or a top. If it is a one you have made, can you provide the pattern number and maker. Thank you and great video.
Thank you Shirley! I'm hoping to film the final video asap. Of course - I always forget to mention what I'm wearing in my videos!! It's the Simple Sew Cocoon Dress in viscose from Atelier Brunette. I hope that helps! It would easily be hacked into a top too :)
@@LizzieB Thank you Lizzie. I am going to try and get the pattern. That material you have made it out of is lovely. Hope mine turns out as good as yours.
Thanks for sharing this- choosing fabric for such a special make seems very daunting. Your choices look lovely! Can you share how many metres of each fabric you required?
Thank you! Of course - I ended up buying 2metres of the stretch jacquard and 3m of the crepe/wool mix and I ended up with a lot leftover of each.
Good girl!!! And BRAVE!! 👍❤️😍😘🥰
And SMART, too!!
Will you prewash it??
Thank you Donna! Yes I pre-washed it. It was TERRIFYING but I did wash two tester squares first to make sure it wouldn't ruin the fabrics. It was still nerve wracking though!!
Are you going to make your veil as well??
When is your wedding date??
Yes I made my veil as well, which I'm also planning on making a video on. I got married at the beginning of April this year - I can't believe how quickly the time has flown since!
Hi . Can u please help tell me what is the type of fabrics of Miranda Kerr wedding dress ?? I really hope u reply this😢
Love that top you have on. Did you make that?
Yes it’s a Simple Sew cocoon dress in Atelier brunette viscose 😊
💕
I have been on tenter hooks waiting for the final dress. Do I look on Instagram??????????????? Thank you for doing these videos.
I'm sorry Christine I've been trying to get around to filming the final video and failing!! It's coming soon I promise. My dress is on instagram if you'd like a peak @lizzie_.b
