Turned out great! There is an old joke that says knife makers don't make mistakes, they make smaller knives. It's not often that a 'mistake' leads to a BIGGER knife! 🤣 Are you selling any yet?
@@DanHelfond Haha thank you😂 I definitely underestimated how much that leaf spring would draw out😅 I am selling knives, however I don’t have a website or online store yet so that makes it difficult to do transactions that are not local.
Tenha sempre cuidado redobrado com a roda de polir , Nolan. Nunca passe da velocidade média. Sei que vc já deva saber disso mas cuidado nunca é demais. Até mais.
How did you remove the epoxy that came out of the front of the handle? It’s impossible to sand without ruining the finish of the knife, i had this problem withmy first knife but i see you sonehow did it…
@@druidobianco9734 Good question! This was something I struggled with for awhile also. The trick I figured out is before you epoxy the scales on, Hand sand the very front area that is closest to the knife to its final polish. Then once you have it all epoxied and clamped up, before the epoxy hardens use a qtip or paper towel with some acetone. It should wipe the epoxy right off the blade. If you have any other questions feel free to ask and i’ll try my best and help! Thanks for watching!
@@NolansKnives thanks for the answer! That’s the same thing i did, but the resoult was not perfect, so the method is right but i probably need some more practice. I’ll keep following you 😁
😂 I was reading your comment and when you said “that’s not a knife” I thought to myself “oh no he didn’t like it!”but then I kept reading and laughed out loud😂 I appreciate all your support and love seeing your comments on all of my videos!! Thank you again!! Blessings to you as well🙏🏻
Not too shabby kid. Keep it up. As you sell your work, you can afford to buy better tools. I predict one day you'll be on Forged in Fire. As for instruction, watch other videos by people with more experience. Many of them will probably be happy to answer your questions.
Thank you for watching!
