When you felt like you were struggling with prayer in Marriage, calm down, because only about 4% of Christians couples pray together. So Steve and I shared candidly on our journey and the lessons we are learning.

Imagine I was taking praying together with my husband for granted. From this video I've realised people struggle about it. For us we prayed together since courtship and it's part and partial of our lives

This topic is haaaard for most couples, even Christian ones. I like the fact that as you shared you expressed that you are also growing. Thanks Steve for speaking for most men who suffer the rage of their super-spiritual wives sometimes. Then sometimes you have to pray with the kids as a family, then after pray with your spouse, then after pray alone....May God help us.😄

Yaa grew up in a family like Lisa's. Family altar every night and once a month for prayer point shandering😅 anyway I'm not married yet but i pray that i get married to a man that knowssssss God.

This relates with me, of recently I listened to a sermon about intercession by apostle Grace and my husband being a minister, I was like I will initiate intercessions at night, to my surprise, my husband would juts hold my hand and sometimes keeps quiet and sometimes prays in a low tone and when it comes to family altar I have accepted to continue leading it and this frustrated me but with all this knowledge, let me keep pushing

Thanks Lisa and Steve. I have a challenge with this. And i am happy that you brought this on board. I am the culprit always dozing during our prayer sessions and it pisses him so much.. i am working on my self though😊..i am helped of the Lord.
God can surely help!! May we have a burning desire for Him and His presence
If you feel like dozing, please stand up and pray while pacing. God hears those prayers as well
I reasonate with steve..personally my husband will not tell me when things are going on really bad but i have learnt to notice afew things he does and i will no business isnt going on well..so what i do is pray and pray and just comfort him ..slowly lead him to open up and we pray together 😂

This is such a powerful episode Lisa. As a single one of my prayers is to have a man who takes the priesthood role very seriously because growing up i watched Dad pray. Now am challenged😂 into understanding where people come from as our back grounds role model us too much

Prayer personality is such a new idea to me. It makes sense. Personally i prefer to pray silently also dont understand how people pray "the whole night"
