I think I would roll the dough, prick it all over, brush with water, sprinkle with salt...and THEN cut them into pieces. I'm going to try this recipe tomorrow!
Thank you so much for the recipe of homemade soda crackers. I have looked and looked for the past year and yours is the simplest and looks the best thank you so much
Been looking for a recipe for saltines for a while. I was wondering what's the best way to store them so they don't get stale quickly. Thank you for sharing your recipe.
I store them in a tin can with a tight cover the kind like cookies come in. They keep pretty good I was about 3 weeks eating mine and they were still super fresh. I enjoy them with Nutella spread over the top at coffee time. 😁. Thanks for watching
I had to laugh when you compared Maxwell House with Dunkin Donuts coffee, because I'll only ever buy Maxwell House and I dislike Dunkin Donuts. 😂 To me Maxwell is superior to any others. Thank you for the crackers! I haven't been able to find them near me lately and I needed a good recipe!
If you get yourself some tool from like Joanne's like Joanne's it's the stuff the ballerina skirt to meet Ada And you wrap your totes in that like the outside of it they won't get in there because they can't stand the way it feels Get yourself a small supply of it and see if it works it's not that much money
I just found your channel, so glad for your cracker recipe &

Sounds great. Hope you like it
Expiration on things like cough drops is mostly for storage rotational purposes, they will be just fine for many months beyond the suggested date!
You are welcome!!! Love blessing you! You bless me more than you realize ❤️
I must 😂 ❤️
Crackers look wonderful!! I’m amazed
Thank you. The more salt you put on, the better the taste, unfortunately I can't do that. And the thinner you can get them the better.

Very creative out of the box thinking!😊
Nice job, I'm going to make those very soon. Thank you and God bless ❤️🙏
Blessings to you too! 😁
This looks amazing is all purpose flour.?
All purpose unbleached is what I use
I just found your channel and I'm very anxious to try the crackers
Welcome to the channel. I think you'll like them. 😁
Use the large tins that popcorn and cookies come in. That'll cut down on feeding your storehouse to the critters
I like those sticky traps too
Absolutely! Great idea for sure. 😁

🤣. I usually drink Maxwell House. My grandmother always buys Dunkin' donuts and it tastes so good to me. Thanks for watching.
I love Tazo tea
I finally made my first batch of crackers. And they taste a lot better than store bought. What have I been missing?
I'm so glad they turned out good for you! 😁🤗
I stumbled upon your channel, great video..... can I use self rising flour instead of AP flour?
Thank you. I'm glad your here. I think it would make them too puffy, but you could try it.
@@agodlyhome thank you so kindly 💕

Great tip thanks! 👍
Tulle is the “ net” you are referring to. It took me a minute to figure out “ tool”, not criticizing, it just helps us to follow your suggestion.👍🏼
How long can they be stored
I'm not sure because they get eaten within a week here lol
😁
Mice can chew through plastic totes!
Yes they can but I have Traps set on top of the totes. Nothing has ever gotten in.
@@agodlyhome
Mice do NOT like the aroma of peppermint, it helps to discourage them.
@@hummingbird275 great suggestion!
I thought saltines had baking soda
Some recipes do
Maybe that’s why the
“ old timers” call them
“ soda crackers”. Just sayin’.
I wonder how they would turn out if cooked in an air fryer.
Thats a good question. I'll give it a try and get back to you.
@@agodlyhome Thanks in advance! I'm looking forward to your results. 🙂
