The final variation is sometimes an optional add-on, such as in this case, called the crunluath a-mach variation. It can be presented a couple of different ways: played strictly on the beat, as in the doubling of the crun variation, or by allowing the a-mach notes and movements to run together, as I did here, to deliver more contrast with the earlier variations.
