It's About Time places players in control of five playable characters as they traverse multiple levels, each filled with enemies, crates, Wumpa fruit and hazards, with the objective being to get from the start point to the goal as with the original trilogy.The game features two different game modes for players to engage in: Retro Mode, which focuses on the use of limited lives that require players to find additional ones during levels and forces them to restart a level should they run out; and Modern Mode, which replaces lives with a death counter that keeps track on each death in a level by its respective playable character. In addition, levels feature two separate variations, each of which features their own layout of hazards, enemies and objects - main story and "alternate timeline".

I miss Dingodile as a bad guy, but I really like the idea of him starting a diner. It really seems in character since he did make jokes about food in some of the previous games. His love of food could also explain how he gained weight in Crash Twinsanity.

Would be neat ro see the old Crash villains become playable characters in a platform game, with unique abilities such as Pinstripe's long-range shooting, Koala Kong's ability to throw heavy objects or Ripper Roo's fondess of explosives and being able to jump high to make new spins on the gameplay :D

"Dingodile: The Revenge of Papa Batfield" ---- I'll gladly pay top dollars for that game. Dude should headline his own spinoff series, I dare say. I can totally imagine his playstyle evolving as he acquire newer and crazier guns, much like Ratchet.

Dingodile is EASILY the best of the three side characters in this game (Tawna and Cortex are good, but I really like playing as Dingodile!). I wouldn't mind there being a full game staring Dingodile with this style of gameplay.

Now I'd wanna see a game with him and Crash in a sorta Sonic Unleashed-styled game. Normal balls-to-the-wall platforming for Crash, and fast-paced beat 'em up action with Crunch.

He is just a GOOFY weird guy but even when he works for cortex he isn’t a EVIL guy

If I were to be completely honest, this is the best Dingodile model I’ve seen. Better than Twinsanity’s, and definitely better than the N. Sane Trilogy and CTR model. It has a cartoony look and it fits Dingodile perfectly. The expressive animations also compliments the model. I really love this new style Crash Bandicoot 4 has.
Plus, it also seems like the Crocodile part of him shows much more than with previous models. But that could just be me.

I at first didn't like it, but now I love it. Plus, his appearance and voice match perfectly.
His Twinsanity design was pretty alright. Not great, but I still like it. But his voice, and I mean no disrespect to Dwight Schultz, was too smooth for him. Fred Tatasciore, however, is perfect for him. Plus, he's voiced an Australian crocodile before.

Its one of the lesser voices because its just Fred Tatasciore trying to do an Australian accent. Which he did his best but he's not cut out for Dingodile.

The way Dingodile performs a double jump with his vacuum reminds me of Mario using FLUDD in Super Mario Sunshine and Daxter's bug spray from Daxter PSP

Fun Fact: Dingo's Diner is a small part of a stage that has no point of it, i'm talking about Warped, if you go to the racing levels, you will see Dingo's Diner in the middle of the race.
Also i would like to mention the fact i found in Food Run there's this section that you see Dingo's Diner in the background.
I overall enjoy Dingodile as a character, so when I heard he was playable, I knew it'd get interesting quick!

He missed the crates at 7:15 and I began to get annoyed. He stopped for a bit and thought about it and went back. A huge sigh of relief on my part. He destroyed some he missed but then went passed the crates he missed again. Complete hopeless panic.

It still makes me happy they made my favorite crash villain a playable character in the new entry and they’re using him as a hero. It’s like they knew I loved playing him on the hero team in Crash Bash (speaking of which, still up in the air for a remake? We got Rilla Roo in the CTR remake)

I think that wind gun is supposed to be his flamethrower, but its just been sitting around for years and has no gas anymore. thats my guess anyway.
The canon says something in the likes of "after years of villany, Dingodile hanged up his flamethrower to start living an honest life with his diner".
Well hey, for those who are disappointed, think about this; in its place, he has an RPG/Jetpack hybrid, which can also act as a vacuum for cleaning around the house as a bonus!

To be fair this makes for more interesting platforming which is what really matters.
