I was 4 years old when this happens in Delhi. I still remember our neighbours were Sikh and very close friends of our family. We kids used to play together. One day at night they came to us and my parents hide them under our bed and wardrobe and told us to keep quiet n lay down on the bed. We were kids and we didn't know what happened that day. The whole family stayed with us for 2 days and we locked the all doors. Some people came to check and my parents spoke to them later those people left. We were in touch with them for many years but now we don't know where they are. I hope they are happy and safe. This movie reminds me of that day even though I was a kid at that time but still, I remember

Loved the trailer. Although Diljit had already done punjab 1984 but that movie got restricted to Punjabi audiences or those who love and watch Punjabi cinema but I am glad Diljit decided to do this role once again to let the people know at the national and international level about the 1984 events. What an absolutely phenomenal movie. Incredible acting, direction, cinematography and what a score. I cried like a baby so many times in this film. There are no words to describe the pain I felt for my Sikh brothers and sisters. I am so so sorry for what you had to go through and still do go through.
