I had to go into Vegas to have my car worked on. Since it was going to take a few days, I figured I'd make a staycation out of it, and book a room at a place I've always been curious about: the Jockey Club!
This condo tower was built in 1974...and even though giant megaresorts have grown up all around it, the Jockey Club owners refused to sell. Today, neighboring hotel towers block the sun, and the pool is covered with a net to protect guests from being killed by bottles thrown from that next-door neighbor's balconies.
Despite these grim features, I actually found the Jockey Club an AMAZING place to stay -- huge room, awesome location, and most importantly...NO RESORT FEES! I would DEFINITELY stay here again -- this really is the best kept secret in Las Vegas.

I always stay at the Bellagio. One day I was walking and some guy tried offering me steak dinners, slot play, a free 3 day stay and a bunch of other stuff. After 15 minutes of telling him I’m not interested - I found out it was a time share for the Jockey Club. The place is decently equipped with all of the comforts of home, and a overall nice room! For $129, that’s a deal!
Don’t think I’d walk down the Strip dressed like that!!! YIKES 😱!

I admit, I don't watch all your videos basically because of the length of time, but do catch up frequently, I know once I start watching you, I'm not going to be able to stop, lol, and this one was no exception, you are an extremely talented presenter, storyteller expert, the whole package, beautifully imperfect, if I were ever lucky enough to meet you someday, what a pleasure it would be to tell you in person thank you for the entertainment 🙂

Hussy that room is pretty fantastic for $129 a night and no RESORT FEES!! You have stayed in pretty basic to divey places before so this in comparison is a palace!! And a view of the faux Eiffel Tower!! Gee I wish I could have experienced those swinging 60's & 70's Vegas!! Whew!! 😂🍸
Had to write after viewing your live 200k and add my two cents. You have broad following I know I am old. I think you are a great story teller and a gift few have. You make the most mundane seem very interesting and we enjoy you and your story telling very much.
