I would like to have an old steel wheel tractor to put out in the front yard. There’s a guy at the bottom of the backside of the mountain where I live that has two of them, but they will not sell them.
Scrapper #77 has the right idea. Buy cheap and in volume and take right to the scrap yard. Of course, he's all set up with the proper equipment to load and haul in volume.
Another 3 on the tree 1960 Ford for your dad , love those Fords had a Fairlane 2 door 292 with a standard shift 3 speed , Sold it a few years ago to a lady for her husband and they shipped it to Germany .
I love all the old big trucks. Ten years old I was hauling hay, straw and grain wagons with those old trucks. I never saw an automatic in a truck until years later. I made a remark to a friend that Greyhound bus drivers must be wimps because they needed an automatic transmission. That was before I joined the military and just about everything was an automatic. If I was closer I would love the old 51/52 Chevy 4 door. I had a 51 sedan delivery that got destroyed by a drunk driver in 79. I've missed that car ever since. Thanks for taking us along. Cheers Terry
This was a dandy video! Yes, I did like the time lapse sequences. I also enjoyed the highlights of the amounts the items sold for even if not to you. Also enjoyed your comment about the owner of all that stuff and your likening his collecting 'habit' to your own. Priceless.
Super footage Silas. I say man when you go to an auction You ARE coming home with something and you don’t mess around when you know you can make a few dollars. Thanks for taking us along. Stay well!😅
I liked the 60 Ford you bought for your dad and I like the 51 or 52 Chevy 4door you bought. Those 2 were my favorites. I like the old Pu and the bus but the cars were the best.
I like the way you film, quick on each item and you give a brief description of what sold for how much and to who, you're really getting good at this Silas, auctions are big interest to your subscribers, keep them coming 😎
Pretty sure Mr. Goodpliers had been to this location previously and made a video of what was to come! I liked the Jules Motor Service and the small scooter. 👍👊🙏💒
You have much more love and respect for the old iron than any of the scrappers. Preserving as much as you can. Excellent work as once it’s gone, it’s gone
I had to cry seeing all of those old tractors going to the scrap yard. The one old crawler that said, "do not sell", I have the same make and model that I was able to restore. But I guess we can't save them all. Thank you for taking us along.
The winged radiator cap on the Chevy truck looks like an early Chrysler. Looks like you got some good buys! I am sure that all associated with the cemetery next door are happy not to have a whole row of scrap tractors lining the one side of the cemetery anymore. The 51 Chevy looks very complete. Hopefully the 60 Ford has many useable parts. That 59? IHC pickup would have been nice to get, except for the grille it was very straight. Also the 36 GMC pickup was a real prize as that was the first year or one of the first years that the pickup was available. Very enjoyable video.
That was a fun auction. The way you edited it was great. You showed us lots of good auction action and included great shoots of cool stuff. I thought the time lapse of the loadings was fun to watch.
That was a cool auction! Love the old Chevy truck, 55-57 Chevrolet bus, Chevy homemade tractor, and well I approve of all the vehicles! That Chev sedan has lots of goodies! Fun action! Sad about the complete tractors going to scrap, but as you've said.......if you want them saved, then start buying them! Well said.
Silas, I really enjoy you auction videos the best, unfortunatly iv'e never been to one, but i think i would spend to much on neat stuff i don't really need, keep bringing great content, yours is one of the best channels out there in my opinion.
Great video. Good buy on the magnetos. The adjustable wide front on the DC case tractor you was wondering about was made that way so the mounted cultivator would still fit behind the front end.
Thanks,Silas! Big fun hanging out with you again! Perfect job on this video, with the auctioneers, and the prices! That deere (G?) Caught my eye, and who does not love old trucks? Especially 'binders!! Happy new year!!!!
As a hobby auto restorer who grew up spending 18 hours a day in a garage, I didn't realize I would actually cry watching an auction. But this hurts, knowing these beautiful pieces are going to scrap. I'm severely disabled or I'd be in the mix grabbing em up and bringing them back to life. For all of you who breathe life into these forgotten ones, may God bless you.
Always good spending time with you Silas. I love the fuel / oil cans you have in the states. I see it's common over there like some of the yard clean ups you and Mr Goodplirers go to. All the best to you and your family for the New Year. 🇦🇺
I got the old Rollback running and uploaded the video! This was a fun auctoin. Its wierd to see my ugly mug on the tv in the crowd...lol It was good to meet you, If we ever get up your way i wanna walk thru them old cars!
Wow Silas that was an exciting auction my Dad used to take me to the auction house when I was 6 to9 we always stayed till the end when everything was like a dollar a box loaded up in his 53 Studebaker Starliner that's why I love old cars
It's good to see auctions like this, in today's world everybody's gone to the internet auctions. At least here if you show up you can probably get a good deal. Thanks for taking the time and filming all this
And just like that, all them Tractors that Worked the Land for our ancestors were Lost Forever. They Don’t make them any more, it’s a shame they all can’t be saved. Appreciate you having us, I’ll catch you on the next one. Keep It Safe Out There & Happy New Year
What's the difference between the scrappers and what you do? The vehicles all seem to wind up being cut up in pieces or crushed...so it doesn't seem to matter much. I really wish somebody could have bought that old Jules truck and did a restoration on it but it'll most likely get chopped up and basically scrapped for "wall art", whatever in heck that is! Sickening! If I had the time left and the money I'd loved to have rescued that '52 Chevy. Those are really great cars when fully restored or just turned into daily drivers and enjoyed.
I enjoyed the auction, and the truck I liked the best was the REO. I also liked your commentary of item. Thanks and be careful in your work. Hugh Craft
I liked that flat GMC nose. Funny how I look at the front of an old truck now. But seriously, that flat one would be cool because it doesn't stick out that far. You wouldn't have to cut off much. I really liked the way that auction was conducted. Fast and they didn't seem to stick with one box like some do. I've seen auctioneers take too much time starting out at a high price for a long time and finally letting everyone in on it. It looked like those trailers sold pretty quick. I guess those scrappers make good money or they wouldn't be doing it but it's way better than letting something rust down to nothing taking up space.
Great video. Loved seeing all the auctions. Poor Farmer Brown. All of his treasured itens were auctioned awain one day, and many of them went to the scrapper. Enjoy your youth because your later years will definitely slow you down a lot.
What did you think of the time lapse of loading everything? I think that was one of the coolest time lapses I've ever done!
Brilliant
Cool and chilled tunes too, nice
Great job on the time lapse.
It was the best that you have done - you are great.
Yup,good
Those vintage Dorman parts bins were very cool. I doubt I could have resisted paying way too much for them.
I would like to have an old steel wheel tractor to put out in the front yard. There’s a guy at the bottom of the backside of the mountain where I live that has two of them, but they will not sell them.
I hope most of the cars and trucks are saved and get a new life, they deserve it, these kinds of models will never come again
Scrapper #77 has the right idea. Buy cheap and in volume and take right to the scrap yard.
Of course, he's all set up with the proper equipment to load and haul in volume.
I like it when you put the prices they sold for on the screen..
Didn’t you say that you were not interested in smalls???
Lol Never say Never! Interesting auction.
“I’m not gonna buy this stuff I’m just here to get cars” yeeeaahh right. Been there brother, just can’t help yourself. Blessings
We are only human
Can't just eat 1 potatoe chip lol 😊
I like the 60 Ford car. My grandpa had one back in the day.
I like old trucks
I loved it all! I'm an old scapper, retorer, artist, junk yarder etc.?.......in north Florida.
Definitely went home with something 👍
Another 3 on the tree 1960 Ford for your dad , love those Fords had a Fairlane 2 door 292 with a standard shift 3 speed , Sold it a few years ago to a lady for her husband and they shipped it to Germany .
Had a blast hanging with u silas excellent cheers 🥂 sad on shredder sucks cheers 🥂 & have. Fantastik day you're self lol 😊😊
May favorite was the 51chevy car. Thanks Silas.
It was sad to see all those old tractors go for scrap, I have two old tractors, and would like to get more.
Honesty; integrity, - how refreshing. Thank you from a former Jayhawker.
Old farm equipment is cool for a farm just for yard art! As long as it works!
Awesome video. Auctions can be addictive can’t they. Love the doors on the old truck.

My favorite are the old Internationals trucks.
That 57 Stump Bus was pretty cool, the time lapse was sweet 👌🏼

WOW what a trip
Super footage Silas. I say man when you go to an auction You ARE coming home with something and you don’t mess around when you know you can make a few dollars. Thanks for taking us along. Stay well!😅
Man, that was awesome. You are a real worker bee. Your son will learn sooo much from you as you have learned from your Dad.
Great video, appreciate your descriptions and giving us the reason you’re interested in particular items!
MAN!! Back East those prices would have been twice/ three times what they were there. So so sad to see those implements go to scrap.
Keep up the good work love watching you on UA-cam
Love this video. Thank you for posting the results on most
I liked the 60 Ford you bought for your dad and I like the 51 or 52 Chevy 4door you bought. Those 2 were my favorites. I like the old Pu and the bus but the cars were the best.
Love the time lapse. The clouds moving as you work is cool.
I like the way you film, quick on each item and you give a brief description of what sold for how much and to who, you're really getting good at this Silas, auctions are big interest to your subscribers, keep them coming 😎

Silas you did Save a lot Very Kool
At 27:22 I noticed a 60 Imperial tail light in a box. Those are worth some money. I had 2 of those cars.
Pretty sure Mr. Goodpliers had been to this location previously and made a video of what was to come! I liked the Jules Motor Service and the small scooter. 👍👊🙏💒
looked like a great day
Best place in the world

Thank you Silas for another fun filled and exciting video. Great editing too.
Cool truck good job .

Loved loved loved it all!!
Keep doing what you do
The 51 Internal, it has chrome bars on the grill, cab lights and horn. My dad's truck is a IH 1951 L110.
That was a cool auction! Love the old Chevy truck, 55-57 Chevrolet bus, Chevy homemade tractor, and well I approve of all the vehicles! That Chev sedan has lots of goodies! Fun action! Nice auction. I especially love those 30s Chevrolet trucks.
Great vid Silas, always like these auctions and farm cleanups 🇦🇺🇦🇺👍👍
I hope another cleanup comes his way, I like those. 🤞
🇺🇸

I like the 57 Chevy bus ! Enjoyed your video 👍. Steve 🤠
My favorite vehicle that you purchased was the old truck that you highlighted at the very end of your vlog. I really like the auctions that you share.
Good auction ,, great job filming 👍 👍 👍 👍
Great video. Good buy on the magnetos. The adjustable wide front on the DC case tractor you was wondering about was made that way so the mounted cultivator would still fit behind the front end.
Thanks for sharing 👍 enjoyed the adventure. RIP to the original owner he had quite the collection 🙂
Thanks,Silas! Big fun hanging out with you again! Perfect job on this video, with the auctioneers, and the prices! That deere (G?) Caught my eye, and who does not love old trucks? Especially 'binders!! Happy new year!!!!
I love old everything. Great videos. Keep up the good work, Sy

It was great to see you saving stuff from the shreader again. My favourite was that really old tractor .. what a shame it went for scrap.
Thanks for the great videos.
Love the way you did the auction! Would like to watch more!
Always good spending time with you Silas. I love the fuel / oil cans you have in the states. I see it's common over there like some of the yard clean ups you and Mr Goodplirers go to. All the best to you and your family for the New Year. 🇦🇺
The bus with a modern drive train would make a cool RV conversion.
I got the old Rollback running and uploaded the video! This was a fun auctoin. Its wierd to see my ugly mug on the tv in the crowd...lol It was good to meet you, If we ever get up your way i wanna walk thru them old cars!
You bought a lot of good stuff I really like the 35 or 36 Chevy truck
Awesome dude. In my neck of the woods, there ain't much of that left
Wow Silas that was an exciting auction my Dad used to take me to the auction house when I was 6 to9 we always stayed till the end when everything was like a dollar a box loaded up in his 53 Studebaker Starliner that's why I love old cars

Great video Silas, I love auctions and this one was really cool. you made some pretty nice buys!
Your auction videos are always enjoying. I like the old Motor Service vehicle. Cool patina. Thanks for sharing your adventures. Peace

Like the old fords on the sale and just looking at all the smalls in buildings and on the trailers
I loved the rolling clouds in the background when you’re loading up that truck 🫶🏻🧠
Watching from Eastern NC on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Brings back a lot of memories. Thanks...
I liked the old GMC truck that is in the woods the best, I would refurbish it and use it myself
Got some great buys there silas well bought mate .
Great video. Just heartbroken over all them tractors going to the shredder
I wish it was closer and I had more time. I’d have saved a few of the more complete ones for yard art if nothing else.
Nice job on the time lapse. Looks like you should make a good profit at this auction.
Loved the video. The Red International 4wd was my favorite.
Great job. The Chevy truck 😊

Great video, Silas. Liked the high dollar General Motors pickup and the Jeep pickup. Really enjoyed this sale. Thanks.
Willis truck was the Best Buy in my opinion but the old truck with the sweet door advertisement was great also
And I thought I was bad when it came to saving all kinds of stuff. I have a long way to go to be an official "Hoarder"
I like the Hydraulic Chainsaw. I would have given you some competition for that! Wish it was shown more.
I guess those scrappers make good money or they wouldn't be doing it but it's way better than letting something rust down to nothing taking up space.
They took less than 3 hours to do 15 trailers. Fastest I’ve ever seen.
Man, oh, man, this is excellent content for a guy like me who likes the old metal. Cudos, sir!
Great video. Loved seeing all the auctions. Poor Farmer Brown. All of his treasured itens were auctioned awain one day, and many of them went to the scrapper. Enjoy your youth because your later years will definitely slow you down a lot.
Silas my favorite thing was watching you buy, all that stuff.
