Cheers mate!
Just got my 725 frame and about to build my SINGLE SPEED urban destroyer bike 😎
Just bought a 725 frame (white, 48cm) I’m really excited
Awesome, Enjoy it
Nasty ass bike🔥🔥
Can’t wait to see you out 💪🌵🦙
See you wensday 😎
Great looking bike!
I was wondering how you like the leader corsa crankset?
Seems like a steal for a 144bcd crankset.
I’m about to build mine but can’t seem to find parts that add up too well and not trying to spend the equivalent of the bike in a set either lol.
Thanks! I loved this set up, on flat city riding it was really good. I bought all the main stuff from leader directly.
Hey is the quality good on these 2019 frames? Like no more seat post issues and what not? I am really considering a 735 but have heard mixed reviews because of Leaders history
Mine was absolutely perfect, the only “issue” if you would even call it that was I was missing one of the small bolts on the back that holds the rear bracket for the rear axle, I emailed leaderUSA and they mailed me a new one in two days no questions asked. Seems like their customer service and products have greatly improved from the 2016 era and quality.
@@GooseWurkz thank you so much for the speedy reply! I am now 10 years later in a position to buy my dream bike!
Good job.
Thank you!
I’m a noob... so please excuse me. Following you marking your fork tube, did you cut under the line or right on it??
I cut a little bit under it, the reason for this is because you don't want the top of the headset to directly rest and touch the carbon tube, this is why i have a small spacer at the top so it gives a small gap for the headset to rest on.
@@GooseWurkz sweet thanks man, is the small spacer necessary because of the design or can you get away with cutting another mm or so lower and not use it?
@@Lowlyfilm As long as the compressor is still reaching both areas of the stem bolts, and the top of the headset doesn't touch the carbon tube it should be okay, once the compressor is tight you technically don't even need the top of the headset.
@@GooseWurkz did you have to force the bottom racer from the headset onto the steerer tube pretty hard,
@@Lowlyfilm Yes, it's pressure fit for sure, there's a race tool which is basically a long metal tube you use to hammer it down onto the fork, or any long tube will work, i used a PVC pipe and it worked just fine.
Nice video bro, one question what's the frame size.
52
Cheers, I enjoyed
Hi, i just bought leader 735 size 52, is it normal pedal strike to wheelset? Tq
Yea
Finally.... a leader 725. Getting mine soon and wanted to see someone else set one up!
I love it man! Been riding it for a few days and it’s super smooth, these newer 2019 frames seem solid
@@GooseWurkz yah man I’m picking up a 19 frame today. So stoked man! Been looking everywhere for someone to post something on the new frames. This video got me hyped haha
@@Lowlyfilm Awesome man! What color did you get yours in? I recently got 88mm wheels too :) my 60mm carbon wheels are for sale cheap cough cough
@@GooseWurkz if you are still selling those carbon wheels I maybe be interested!
Hi! Did you ever have a problem with the seat? I have the de same bike and the fear is always slipping and lowering.
Nope never had any issues, you shouldn't really fear that anyway, you'd just sit in a lower position if that happened.
how a leader 725 weight?
Hey man haha hate to bother again!
By chance are those 25c or 28c tires you are running?
No bother at all, 25 front and back.
@@GooseWurkz I’m slowly piecing it together. I’ll make a quick video of it when it’s done so you can see it lol
How much did it cost to build it? And do you think I could build a fixed gear with a good track frame for around 1300€/1500$
About 1300
@@GooseWurkz Hmm, sounds that I will be able to do something close to that
Would the frame accommodate a 35mm rear tyre?
28 mm maxed out
wanted a leader frame for the longest time....held off from buying one cause of the seat clamp issues....the newer 2019 frames seem to have better build quality but can only use 1 certain type of seat post, scared of having that casp6 carbon seat post break on me and having no replacement
I can confirm these newer 2019 models are great, and dealing with the leader USA customer service was great, the bike was missing one bolt and the replied to my email same day and had a replacement bolt to me in 2 days, looks like the new management and build quality has improved greatly.
Aluminum frame?
Yes
How much did the bike end up weighing? I really like the look of the Leader 725 frames.
may i ask why the weight matters on cycling?
@@bfx2515 the heavier it is the faster you get tired
@@bfx2515
taking your bike into the apartment for examplem can't leave shit in my basement. cause they also break into that..
@@xfunker but its a fixie every fixie weighs under 10 kg
@@bfx2515 not all of them haha, the heavy steel frame oness could weigh around 15 kgs
😅
What size was your bike ?
52
Any issues with the seatpost
Happy to report none, this was fixed in these newer models so I've heard.
@@GooseWurkz Alright thank you Hows the bike so far and I seen road bikes with aero seatpost issues so it was not only leader I seen alot hate towards leader bikes
Does the Frame comes with the fork?
No it’s separate
What size or mm of rims you used there? Thanks!
60mm
@@GooseWurkz Mind sharing a link to the wheelset?
what did you use for back cog?
Fixed gear that came on the wheel
Bike pedals name pleaseeeee
Wellgo Fixed Gear Fixie Pedal
size?
52
