    If you have an HGV licence have you ever considered getting an ADR qualification? It's the licence needed by lorry drivers who move dangerous goods by road. For example: a petrol tanker delivery driver would need an ADR licence to carry out their job. It's a legal requirement and having ADR should enhance both your job prospects and earning potential. This short video explains what getting an ADR licence involves.

    I recently took an ADR course at ep training services. I found the whole course to be very enjoyable. The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable, professional and patient. thanks to them I passed first time.

    In 2020 it still applies the rule that you cannot drive dangerous goods,until you get your ADR card at home by post in 4-5 weeks? If you pass all the exams,they don't supply you with a proof that you can use on the road until you get the real card? Thanks

      This sounds like they give you too much information to cope with? Is this more of a classroom learning then driving ?

      @RonaldRaygun53 3 роки тому

      @@bored742 it’s very little to do with driving and more about health and safety..

      @@bored742 There’s no guarantees but your trainer will help you all the way. You’ve still obviously got to pass the exams. It would be beneficial if you could try and learn the classes and memorise the placards going into the course. I found it a bit informative overload because they pad the course out with a lot of the science behind explosions etc. But it is just mainly a health and safety course so basically common sense. You’ll be fine... 👍

      Phen0mable I can't which is why I am still driving buses. When my ADR comes up for renewal in a couple of years time, I won't be wasting my money. Best place for it, is in the bin. Not worth a cent.
