This EAS scenario was inspired to the incel crisis which is rising in concern in the 21st century. In this EAS scenario you imagined that crisis happens earlier (1980s) which led to my attention to Incel problems. Ocleg, you really made it, congrats.

the scariest part of this is something similar happened in Canada in the 1990s. not the exact same situation but a man shot up a university in Montreal and killed around 2 dozen female engineering students because he was angry that women were able to study STEM fields.
