@@Faberistry Yes they were? The mangrove biome came out at the same time as the deep dark/Ancient city. Plus there was literally a clip where you had shown an ancient city. 5:33
Tbh the mangrove swamps usual tempature irl would be 75º Fahrenheit (24º Celcius) Probably pretty humid but according to the internet, Air humidity during the daytime in the mangrove forests are more stable and higher than the air humidity at the sea surface level. During the daytime, air humidity in the mangrove forests (Figure 1a) fluctuates between 22%
5:27 actually, the deep dark and therefore the warden is mostly found under mountains, so the warden isn't the reason. its probably because the mangrove swamp in real life is overgrown and messy, mostly water, and hard to make a home in, let alone a village. they might be taking after real life and making it a sort of jungle-like environment.
Also, the mangrove swamp villages can spawn the swamp villagers, and you can do the same thing to the jungle villages as there are jungle villagers as well.
Wow that looks really cool! This is my first time watching you and definitely not the last. I don’t get why this guy doesn’t have more subscribers, you have just earned yourself an extra one though…
Love it! I do think you still went a bit overboard with the details and made certain structures in a way that would never auto-generate, but it looks real nice. The buildings are very nicely designed and if implemented would make for some nice starter base inspiration. I especially like the stilted houses as the Witch huts _should_ be a good indication of how Mojang makes swamp structures, but the increase in details from that old structure is very Village & Pillage and feels like a natural progression. Plus, literally every Google search for mangrove houses ever has stilts. They're basically required. I can't blame you for using lanterns as they're godlike for atmosphere, but when you look at how only cold villages have them in vanilla, it does make you wonder if Mojang wouldn't use torches instead. What they definitely _wouldn't_ do though is use sneakly Glowstone like you did ;) yeah I spotted that in the first house! Cheeky! Froglights might have been fair game though! It's a frog-biome village so why not? I'm personally very fond of the Minecraft building style (absolutely loathe the gradients trend in building) and feel you emulated it nicely. Overall a great video!
@@Faberistry They might in the future, but since 1.14 is such a recent update, they are more likely to update something that hasn't been updated recently, the most obvious thing being the end. But yes, if minecraft goes on for as long as Mojang is hoping, we are likely to see new villagers or just updated villagers at some point.
2:31 it is kind of weird to hear you say you're creating houses in a way that Mojang would, while showcasing a house that by my count should have an interior space of 1x4 where even the smallest houses have an interior space of 3x3 :p The narrowness of the build is very cool though.
not almost. we have jungles, regular swamps, all the peak biomes, mushroom island, all forest biomes, badlands, etc. all without villages. like, i get the badlands, its a boring and rare biome, but jungles are the perfect opportunity for treehouse villages.
I feel like they could expand a lot on villages in tough locations once they do the following: - Let villages in tough biomes only generate near large bodies of water - Have pillagers be able to spawn with, use, and *leave* boats. This is kind of a big dealbreaker because boats are broken in raids, allowing you to trap things like vindicators. Would also make mob zoos a lot harder to achieve. - Alternatively, have special types of pillagers spawn in these biomes for raids. Should be a simple check of what chunk the village center is in. Pirates? Dope.
I don’t think any glass panes will fit in the Mangrove Swamp since people living in swamps and jungles usually substitute it with something like trapdoors and fences - a good example is the people living in Iquitos, Brazil where the city was built in the banks of the Amazon River surrounded with swampy water and lots of dense jungle. The people living there is very poor so they use substitutes like wooden fences and trapdoors instead of glass
Also the bed colors should be red, green, or brown. Red matches the mangrove planks, and stripped mangrove logs and wood, brown matches mangrove logs and fits in with the mud, and green makes it look like the mangrove propagules were smelted into green dye, as well as matching up with the leaves and the teal color water.
I also made my own mangrove village where I put every single profession and some on stilts. Inspired by you! I also made sure to use trapdoors and fences. Not brown stained glass panes cause they are really poor so they can’t afford glass, the houses have not much space. From 2x3 in small house 3 to 4 sections of 3x3 in a cartographer, to 3x9 in a blacksmith.
I saw that you put glowsrone in one of the houses but villagers would never have been in the nether and if they had then we would see netherite scraps in chests

That sounds really cool! I think you just found something very rare. Bc it is possible for floating islands to generate and villages just spawn wherever. So you just got very lucky. I think that's what happened! :)
Wardens were never ment to be land mobs they prefer the dark than light that is apparent in one the the bedrock betas where spawning a warden at day would make it borrow down into the group immediately that's why a warden couldn't of been a land mob because they still borrow down at day but no when spawned in the day even if it's targeting a mob
You made two small but serious mistakes. Housing and workplaces are always separated in villages, so there should be no bed in the blacksmith’s workshop. All workplaces are also separated from each other, so the fletcher’s and cartographer’s house is also wrong. Otherwise I think you made a great job.
But what if just what if the villagers actually decided to build that And they did it Instead when they were smart Cause maybe at 1 point they were smart cause they are quite dumb but when they're smart they're like let's not build a village here but then they're now dumb and they're like let's build a village here told me no 1's gonna come here but they're right because if they were smart they would not Build a village there But then they decided to do that because they're not dumb but the warden is now underground so Yeah It should be villagers main grown villagers because of that but there is still swampers with fit in 2 dimension so Actually no more jungle villagers jungle villagers actually do they make the mselves
