About 75% of these people died from heart problems. And most were under the age of 50. It's chilling. Rest well, guys.
Also a lot of suicides, RIP
Totally unsurprising actually, with PEDs and steroids and other dangerous chemicals being bandied about since pro wrestling began
Mostly drug overdose
It could also be illuminati sacrifices, you being a satan worshipper, I'm sure you know all about that.
drugs
It's amazing that Rick Rude was born in the 20's and died in 1999 and was only 40
he was born in 1958
@@JaydoseVr the video says he was born in 1928. Lol
@@justjeff600 oh didnt notice sorry
and Mike Awesome was born in 1965 and died in 1977. And he's 40
I missed that too. Must have been a time traveler wrestler?
Don't forget about Mean Gene Okerlund. Yes not a wrestler but still an integral part of wrestling history.
How did he die?
Old, bald and fat😊
Rest In Peace Legend..
BRAY WYATT 💔

RIP Bray 🙏
@@IAmTheRealRyan Yes and the Superstar Billy Graham.
The fact that most of those didn't surpassed 50 it's really scary.
@Will Muny , the hell are you talking about?
@@musseia - No doubt...
So many PEDs and supplements that tax so many organs. They burned life at both ends, though only some would regret it.
@@leemehan , dude was probably on crack when he typed that sh!t.
It’s eerie most of them never made it past 30s & 40s
It's so sad that all these superstars that made our childhoods died a painful unnatural death.

I'm surprised some of them lasted as long as they did living those lifestyles
Most of them were heart attacks
When I see things like this I have to consider myself lucky making it to 53. Most of these wrestlers were way too young to die. We thank you guys, all of you were champions.
53 is young
Bruno summertino 82 hat a god old age
R.I.P. to these super stars and women that we see on this video and to all of those who weren’t shown on this video. Each one had paved their way for the ones we have today. Thank you for putting this video together WrestleData. Peace ☮️.
ChynA on this list honestly makes me very sad. She was such important figure in women’s wrestling and really pave the way for so many amazing stars like the Bella Twins, AJ, Lee, Paige, Sasha, Banks, Charlotte flair, Becky lynch Bianca, Belair, and so many more. I’m glad that she is indicted into the Hall of Fame because honestly WWE did not do shit for her when she was at her lowest of lows and treating her horribly. Honestly, this girl had such a hard life it breaks my heart into pieces.
Chyna died in 2016 not 2015.
They used her up and spit her out like the industry has to so many others.
I would use her and spit her too if she was alive fr fr 😢
You really need to learn your words better
Blame scumbag Triple H
Beniot Family tragedy really shook me. Didn't learn about events leading up to them until just recently
Rest in Peace All. Thank you for your sacrifice and for the entertainment you gave all of us fans.
The amount of suicide is incredibly heartbreaking rip
I agree, but my comment is to you're icon - the greatest singer/axeman duo in all of hard rock history. RIP wrestlers, and RIP Randy Rhodes!
@@ghostwriter1415 yes randy has been an influence to my playing. A tragic loss at such a young age. It’s nice to run into a randy fan in the comments it doesn’t happen often!
Most I'm sure had underlying 'mental health issues'. Rest In Peace to all. My heart is broken over Sean O'Haire.
I think a decent amount of the people having heart attacks in their 40s could be lifestyle driven. Steroids etc.
Probably from head injuries (post concussion syndrome, CTE)
What is scary is I loved WWF as a kid. Grew up on it. Now I'm older than most of these dead wrestlers.
Their bodies may have been young, but that coke and/or juice aged their hearts 30-40 years in no time. Sad.
@@melsop54 absolutely. Vince only wanted big muscle men. No way to hit that naturally. Then the highs of the crowd chants the fast life. The constantly having to be big and push on even with injury. Juice, coke, and any other drug they could take. Extremely sad

Yes. Absolutely. Died saving his son. What an unbelievable legendary human being.
Owen Hart's accidental fatal death shook me to the core. I was so devastated. Rip to all these great legends.
I was watching that PPV the night he died. So sad.
That whole situation was a complete sh*t show, someone should have been held accountable for that one.
I can't believe they kept the ppv going after that happened.
Vince ..let the show go on..public knowledge from others. His harness was rigged..had his wife explain
I remember laying in bed that night at 14 years old, and being suddenly aware that he was gone forever and how final death is. It was one of the first times I really was disturbed of the eventuality of death.
I remember watching most of these people it's sad most of them died in their 40s.
Rip to all we miss you thanks for the upload take care
Thanks nice video
It’s so sad how most of the deaths are drug overdoses and heart failures 😭
And suicide
suicide and car wrecks as well
exactly :(
Only one died by drowning but sacrifice to save his son
the heart failures stems from the drugs 😩
I know it isn't that serious but, Brodie Lee was 41 when he died not 46. But still Rest In Peace all you legends.
2020 minus 1979 ====== 41 you are goddamn right
He has a picture of Nick Bockwinkel for Steve Bradley. While also put a picture of Road Warrior Animal for Road Warrior Hawk. Which puts into question a lot of other information, which is likely wrong in the video.
In name of Brodie lee, they are showing the picture of Luke Harper.....What a diisgust.....
@@problemsolver4322 Luke Harper is how the world was introduced to Brody Lee.. Who he was before & after WWE, doesn't compare to his time in the Wyatt family 🤷🏽♂️
RIP deebo aka Zeus
Thanks for making our childhood superb.
I met Yokozuna at a Bob Evans outside, we talked for a few minutes which was cool but even cooler he said "I want you to meet some people." then walked me to his car, opened the door and said "This is my family." introduced me and then we just sat in the parking lot for about 15-20 minutes talking. Was very cool, super nice guy.
Mike Awesome was so awesome that he managed to live to 42 in only 12 years before realizing his awesomeness transcended this plane of existence
That’s pretty awesome 😂
I was also surprised at this 💯
Some people live life to the fullest
Must have had some time machine 😂
3 main causes here....drug overdose, suicide or heart attack...the life of professional wrestler seems a very sad one. Rest in peace all.
Injuries are extremely prevalent needless to say. Most drug addictions for these guys start with taking pain meds to cope with severe pain. Brain trauma can lead to depression, and anabolics can cause a multitude of health issues. It's a pretty insane combination of factors.
I fear for Jeff Hardy.
Macho man randy savage was ahead of his time with the promotions a legend
I would’ve subscribed to your channel but some of your information is wrong. It’s unfortunate that information isn’t check to make sure it’s correct before submitting/uploading final content.

Man I miss Rowdy Roddy Piper. My favorite when I was younger and I love all his acting appearances afterwards. Dude is a legend.
I believe the first picture of Paul Bunyan is actually a young Andre the Giant. The entry for Hawk was actually the picture of Animal that was listed.

Sad he didn't get to turn 21 and have a beer
Whoever wrote the article is clearly an idiot.

RIP to all those listed.
So many legends here that never get featured in WWE games. Putting them into a game would introduce them to modern audiences and give credence to their forgotten careers.
I would like to see 2K do a "Legends Edition" one time, with a roster full of Legends.
It could be like a modern version of the "Legends Of Wrestling" video game series.
Rest in peace Bray Wyatt
Miss Elizabeth & Randy Savage RIP
Its absolutely terrifying the #1 cause of death in wrestling is heart attack. Steroid use and/or having all those injuries inflicted on the body, it makes sense the heart just can't keep going
I was surprised by the amount of suicides too. A lot of people I didn’t know passed were from suicide.
I agree. I’ve read so many stories of frequent and rampant use of steroids, cocaine, painkillers, alcohol and more within the industry. Especially before it was on tv a few times a week and they traveled city to city to perform every night. The uppers and pain killers became depended upon. Makes sense why so many of them from the 70’s and 80’s heyday died from heart issues. And I guess when the pain and agony were too much, suicide and overdosing was a way out. So sad
PEDs, rec drugs and excessive caloric intake is not the combination for longevity.
Its the painkillers and rec drugs pal
@@stevanivkovic684 pain killers aren’t causing heart attacks. The steroids were. But right about the drugs. Cocaine got them through the day to day matches with the steroids of working out. No way a heart can handle that for many years
Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero 🥺
Wow that is sure a lot ! There is a few misstypes and editorial errors but still cool.
Generations of children grew up watching them in TV including myself. Big entertainers risking their health and life to amaze us! They wont be forgotten. RIP!
The average death rate for pro wrestling was the mid 40s, Insane. RIP to all these legends including Chris Benoit who was a victim to a degree.
Don't you know that it's illegal to feel sorry for Chris Benoit? The right thing to do is to use up all your energy and hate him, and put aside the fact that he was sick, and that he too regrets what he did wherever he is now. How dare you do this sir? Just how dare you?
The fact that WWE had to wait for someone to kill is family and then kill himself because his brain was destroyed due to many chair shorts in head,to ban them is terrible
His wife should have been on the list.
Fuck that shit
... didn't he kills his wife and kids ?
This is so sad. My whole childhood, teenage, and young adulthood from the mid 80s to the mid-2000s I watched most of these wrestlers perform. It really makes you appreciate them even more. 🙏🏿🙏🏿
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Kind of scary that these individuals who were in great shape died from heart issues and never made it to their fifties.😢
I remember being a kid when Eddie Guerrero passed. It hit me hard because he was just getting over that villain arc and starting to be likable again.
The saddest story for me is chris benoit's death. What a tragic end for all the family.
Same! I grew up watching that era of wrestling so that shook my brother and I. I don’t understand y he did it

N mental health issues. Needs looking into.
Roids'll do that, unfortunately.
@@matthewlawton9241is way to avoid this on the account hogan is still alive?
The roids is a small part of why they die with heart attack. It's the stress, over training and excessive caloric intake.
I could have sworn Chris masters died a little after his WWE run. I recently saw interviews of him that were pretty recently.
You notice the majority of them had heart issues but were in good physical shape??😮😮

All these typos and omissions it’s honestly insulting to the memories of all these greats.

Was gonna say the same thing
All of them had a perfect body, except for a couple of managers, they had money, women, they were famous all over the world, they had nice houses, nice cars, they had everything in the world, and they died so early. Mostly because of drugs, but I think most of them died because of steroids, they were too pumped with them. Ultimate Warrior is one of them, he had a more perfect body than Bruce Lee, his body was supposed to live 200 years, and he died so young. What happened to Le Lugger, he stayed in the chair and that was only because of steroids and he had a perfect body, a little drugs and alcohol on top of that and there you are. When I see something like that, it hurts me a lot in my heart, because they were all the legends of my childhood, and if I didn't like some of them that much, they still made my childhood beautiful.
Because of all of them, I was kicked out of school more than once, I beat up much bigger than myself and I was not afraid of anyone. At least because of them, no one was allowed to touch me when I was little. I was very small, maybe the smallest in all those schools, but I had the heart of a lion. I never hit anyone first, but whoever came to hit me was on the floor in just two seconds and begged me to stop. A guy also got one from Undertaker "Tombstone", he barely survived, but before that I begged him for ten minutes not to touch me. I had a feeling that he wanted to feel it and he got it, he got one from Razor Ramon "Razors Edge", I begged him a little less not to touch me, but when he got it, his neck broke, he barely survived
I'm in my early 40s now. It's sobering to see so many heroes and villains die at a similar age, and some of them 20 years ago now.
It's am awful, horrible side to the business that ruins so many lives. And when you're just a kid watching it, you've no idea about the brutal reality.
