The objective is to create a vehicle from the items received that fits a science fiction theme, including post-apocalyptic or steampunk sub genres. The participant may use 3D printed or aftermarket parts as well as any parts from other castings they have, scraps, or scratch-built items (such as using styrene or metal). One of the castings provided in the shipment must constitute a major component of the build.
At the start of each challenge, I will make a video showing the items being packed in the box and announcing who will be receiving the package. Once the items are received (as indicated by Priority Mail tracking), the participant will have thirty days to complete the build and submit to me a minimum of 5 good photographs (preferably more) of the build from various angles. Upon receipt of the photos, I will make a UA-cam video displaying these photos and referring to the social media account(s) of the participant. If photos are not received by the 31st day after the start of the build, a UA-cam video will be made showing that no photos were received. Either way, the build concludes at that point.

🤣🤣🤣 I haven't had this much fun with a boxing since I did Jay's (and I threw drip irrigation parts and a 💩 in his). Lord knows what I might have thrown in there if it wasn't having to travel so far...and Japan is such a beautiful country, I didn't want to send too much poop lol. I think it's a decent Challenge lol. Most important of all...have fun with it Ben!
I guess everybody has a drawer full of misc stuff you'll never use. You found a way to clean yours out! Good work Jim!!

Agreed Neil - I think if you really examine the things Ben has done, both Gaslands and not, he has an ability to make the most amazing things at a level FAR above most of the builders out there...as you said, one of the top couple builders.

Lord I want to hear the translation (when I was kid, my dearest friends were Japanese and their mother did not speak English...so the kids spoke Japanese, which naturally resulted in me learning Japanese...at least the dirty words - hey, we were kids - so I'm sure I might recognize some of those you use in front of my name 🤣🤣🤣)
This is the first time in watching the Silva challenge boxings that I not only agree it's a box of junk and cr@p but I also didn't find any gems that had any possibilities . Sad cause 42 is my favorite number. Hopefully for Ben he can pull a "42 is the answer to everything" out of this 💩fest! I have definitely been forewarned not to piss you off!
oh GW, you must have missed Silva Challenge #5 - Jay's Diecast Creations. Jay, being a dear friend who also said "don't take it easy on me" felt the wrath...oops...joy of getting a special Challenge box. His was somewhat similar to this one - it has bizarre stuff including drip irrigation parts and a true 💩mobile. The results of the build were fantastic! Ben is a master level builder - sending him a box where everyone looks at it and has ideas isn't a Challenge for him...hopefully this box is lol
