Point guard QB's can occasionally put up sick stats. Dak is a point guard. I think Bo is grittier than Dak, though. Bo is gritty. Cornfed, Southern, coach's kid. Church kid. Learned hard work and his manners early. Gotta love it. Bo was written off after Auburn. Genius move by Lanning getting him. I don't think Bo will be rattled easily. I don't think we'll see a ton of deer in the headlights moments from Bo like we did Drew Lock and Paxton Lynch. Y'all realize this pick is night and freakin day different than those 2, right? IDK about that, but I know this.... overall, Russ played terribly last year, outside of that insane stretch where the D went beastmode. We beat the Chiefs, the Bills, we beat some good teams. Another year for these guys in the same system, defense and offense, will count for something. I think Bo can come in and do really well. I think it'll be an exciting, surprising year which will give us hope. If Sean Payton could improve a clueless Russell Wilson, I know he can cook up some magic with Bo. IDK about winning the division. Harbaugh to LA is disgusting. It's going to be a gauntlet, playing the AFC North as well.

I don’t think Russel Wilson is washed up, he just wasn’t a good fit for Sean Payton’s offense. I would not be surprised if the Steelers won more games this year over last year. Good defense, they run the ball well. I do think Nix is a great draft pick and am very excited about his potential running Payton’s offense.

Zach is spot on about Drew Sanders. Some of it was out of necessity because he was playing so poorly at ILB (opposite of Baron Browning who played well there), but in that case sit him or bring him along slowly. They got cocky thinking he was ready for tons of action and he wasn't. The move to Edge was maybe slightly better at times. Such an exciting, explosive player, but I'm legit worried about him. I'm not sold on VJ as DC. I don't dislike him and you could do worse, but IDK. I think we can do better in the future. Perhaps it's a case of needing more time in his system, though, and he'll end up being great. I want to see a big jump from our 2nd year players this season. It has to happen if we're going to have success. Mims especially. Moss and Sanders too.
All it takes is watching some games from Oregon. Heck, his rookie year at Auburn was electric at times too. I don't remember the Priest's being down on Bo, though. I remember them saying they'd be happy with him or a number of other guys. I think Zach wanted McCarthy more, but a lot of people did.
