This Xotic is on par with Suhr and other highend guitars. It looks fabulous and sounds like a dream. Very nice demo. I recommend the Xotic pedals too. I have the EP-booster. Brilliant pedal.

This is a very nice guitar Jon. I seriously doubt that I would ever be able to afford any 4k guitar. I'm very happy playing my Squier 50's and 60's Classic Vibe Strats. I had them set up by a very good luthier and I must say that it was money very well spent.

@@pharmerdavid1432 I have no problem with the necks or the pickups personally. I would just buy Fenders before doing that. But then again, if you like to mod............... :-)

That on looks and sounds great. The flame on the neck is amazing. Seems a bit odd they went with a vintage 6 screw trem on an HSS style guitar, but you can't argue with the end result.

I have a white guitar fetish and oh boy would this go well in my collection, the name Xotic is definitely warranted in this guitar, I m already thinking of reasons I can get away with for buying this model of guitar, it will be difficult though as I have been saving for a guitar building course with Crimson Guitars to build my dream guitar and the cost is more or less the same as this S type, i think I will go with the guitar course as I will get more from it

It may seem like a strange analogy Jonathan but ; I am a Mini Cooper 1.6 D driver - and although I love my wee car, I often dream of being behind the wheel of a Ferrari Dino. I know I would, perhaps, be out of my depth and struggle to appreciate the subtleties of a superior machine, and yet I would, at least, own the bragging rights of having driven an elite vehicle. The very same logic applies to me taking a guitar like this Xotic California Classic XSC 2 Mary Kaye for a test drive. My driving skills are very limited but I am happy that I could take the Ferrari Dino from one end of the race track to the other without bringing it to any harm .... regardless of my amateurish maneuvers ..... more often than not, though, in my experience, the Mini will get us round the track far more successfully ( and enjoyably ) than the Ferrari lol x ...... you are a formula one driver brother and always get the best out of every vehicle you test drive x

Stupid silly prices, but a pretty artifact. If you want a musical instrument, buy a Robert Cray Mexican made for less than $999USD, the best start-caster I ever played, the best feeling and sounding (the pickups!), the bridge pickup sounds like a telecaster (flat pole too)!!!

At the moment all the brands are Building the same guitars....super strat HSS....all similar, configuration, colors, roasted neck...they seems all the same guitar...no creativity...no fantasy...Fender, Schecter, Ibanez, Xotic, Sure, Charvel, Sijie, Corona, etc. etc.
