This does really help to start placing an altar, most other videos I saw were already like you need almost everything. This is much easier and more helpful for me
your house is so pretty! I live your aesthetic... so glad a found your channel. I am new to the norse path but I have pen a practicing witch for over a year so I'm still a baby. Thanks for the info!
I am fortunate that I have a 2nd bedroom , that is my Temple/Library/Ritual room. My working Altar is always set up so all I have to do is grab my wand or blade and cast my Circle. My Altar itself is a drum I made out of a hollowed out log , and I tanned , stretched the leather myself for the drum head. My chalice and cauldron are both made of clays found only on Tribal lands (Chickasaw Indian Tribal Nation Native American here). I have a life sized clear glass bottle that's a skull filled with dirt from ancestral homelands , Tribal Headquarters , Tribal cemeteries , and I use it as a candleholder for my Anestor/Power candle. My ritual book is English alphabet but in my Tribal tongue spelled out phonetically. I also cast my Circle and all other spoken parts of rituals in tribal tongue.
First, thank you for the information, Im still learning about Norse Paganism and gathering as much knowledge as I can. Secondly, don't take this as being creepy, but your eyes are enchantingly beautiful!
@@TheNorseWitch I'm currently searching up runes and its history. my friend is doing their best to cleanse themselves as well!! your videos are very helpful!! please dont stop :_3
You have such an approachable vibe that feels safe and welcoming, I subscribed immediately. Thank you for your work. I have a main Celtic altar and plan to have a smaller altar soon for mainly household magic. 💙💜❤
Hi just an other thought have you thought of making a video on how to put together a mini Altar kit / box as would love to know what you would put in and if you made the small tools or bought them I think this would be a great addition to your channel. There are loads of videos on the subject but none so far on what a German pagan / witch would choose I hope to see this video along with a cooking one as in foods you and your friends love to make for the celebrations thoughout the year or add them into your future videos like the Beltane one as you left that out :( All celebrations have food and favourite drink For younger views don’t forget fresh grape juice as wine is not allowed in the uk until 25 To buy. Also mention that for the younger German witch/ pagans too . Legality. But baking and German food favourites is the main one would love to learn some new recipes xx
Honestly I’m not really into cooking. So I rarely cook anything special for celebration. So I don’t have anything to show in the videos. I mainly eat the same things on Sabbats that I would eat on normal days. Pretty boring I know 😅 but the travel altar video is a good idea, especially because I plan to move this year or next year and a travel altar would come in handy!
Thank you for taking the time to read my comment and reply. I love your channel. You are so knowledgeable and relatable and easy to understand. You really have taught me a lot. Thank you@@TheNorseWitch
i find you very informative. but with me i am a christian and i like seeing other cultures and religions and how they work. i am not judgamental,i do not preach to people of pagan religions to follow God. i just find the old pagan religion interesting and have read books on the subjects. i think we all a little witch in all of us. also i like to be informed and know the facts about pagan religions because i may end up talking to some people and they might be pagan so i like to discuss and kept informed and also i don't sound ignorant because it is different from my religion. it is not up to me to tell people that they cannot practice thier religion. not for me to judge or say. i used to be afraid of witchcraft when i was younger and now i have a better understanding about it. it is people who are afraid and think all people who are witches will cast a spell on you. lol it is far from the truth! i used to dabble it myself. but now i like to know about why people like it and where it is going in the 21st century.so keep up the good vids and hope more people come to your channel. :)
Thank you Bente for sharing your views and practice with altars from your Norse perspective. It was quite informative and entertaining as always! I find that my Buddhist practice has been enhanced after learning more about the pagan, heathen and witchy paths from your videos and that of other creators. If you do not mind; perhaps you or anyone might find this video interesting as well. It's a short example of a home ritual of mine. Do you see any similarities between the Buddhist path and that of your community? I find that there might be quite a few. ua-cam.com/video/daRgPZr6CJA/v-deo.html
Speaking of moon water will you be making any this month ? Also do you use or make solar water ? Where you leave the water in the sun or put it out at night so it catches the first light of the sun ? So in the morning you have your water to use for your favourite tea? If for drinking I just put out bottles of mineral water to charge in either the full moon or early sun rise . xx
I will make moon water, yes! Because I’m completely out, there’s none left at the moment xD I would like to make sun water! Also sun tea! But I haven’t made any yet to be honest

You definitely need basically nothing for your altar as long as it’s sacred to you and you see it as your altar ☺️

Really enjoying your videos. Getting rid of the disrespectful partner not the altar is excellent advice!
Hahaha never getting rid of the altar! XD
LOVING the shirt today. thanks for another helpful video!
Thank you! I really love it too! I got it secondhand 😍

Very informative and helpful. I have many alters devoted to certain gods. Main gods I work with.
Oh that’s cool! Which gods do you work with?
Hey, I’m new to all this and I appreciate your videos!
Hey! Welcome to the family! I hope there will be a lot more valuable information on this channel for you ❤️

Oh that’s such a wonderful compliment thank you so much ❤️
....not me over here who makes whatever I'm doing currently into the altar itself.

Thx i really needed this
I’m commenting on a very old video but it doesn’t really have to do with the video. Can you make a video for broom closeted witches
Do you by any chance have a book or a blog?I am learning so much from you and I'd like something in writing to follow along with.
No unfortunately I don’t (yet)
