my flame effect motor on 50" Paramount Premium started making noises not even a month after i got it. Have a replacement part sent to me but there is no way I'm takin the whole thing apart like this for a small motor. Must be someone from the company that can do this as i have 1 year warranty

I have a different brand of fireplace and the motor looks the same, but no label. Do you have any idea of where to begin looking for one of these gear reduction motors? I'm not finding one through all my Google searching.

Susanne Decker the website link you posted looks promising, I'm not sure if they will ship it me in Canada. But notice the motor shaft is smaller, not a big concern but wanna be sure it will hook on to the plastic sleeves (that's what I have in mine) that hold the motor and rotating reflecting fins together.
Oh my God he basic disassembled the entire fireplace to change that little motor. Glad I have Dimplex product. BAD customer service design. I will not be purchasing this model
You would need to be crazy to ģo to that extent to change a fan if turn it on when you buy it if it's to loud take it back and change the fire there is always a noise from a fan fire and the more powerfull the fan the louder outing a quieter fan can make the fire dangerous to overheat and set your home on fire you should never be stripping down a fire and changing vital parts if not an electrician or ingener

Some dink put grease on the grommet side now the rubber is sticky. Causing the rods to hop making a noise.... any suggestions?

You want a CW (clockwise) only motor and not a CCW or CW/CCW (which would switch every other time you turn it on).

Amitabh Varma search for "permanent magnet synchronous motor", shows up a ton of them. Trick is to find the 115v, they're mostly 220v.
I am looking for a very silent engine to replace the current one. Does anyone have any recommendations?
