I carry a 2 hybrid and 2 utility iron. I use the 2 utility iron exclusively off the tee as a fairway finder. The 2 hybrid is a 3/5 wood replacement off the tee, off the fairway and out of light rough. I have no need for a 7 wood because my 4 iron stops quick enough on the greens. I grew up playing in the 80s so I'm used to the reliance on long irons.
I like that ! I’m starting to think my 3 wood is a pointless Club. I’m driver off the tee, or if I don’t fancy driver, I go to this utility iron. 3 wood very rarely gets used. Starting to think I could do the same as you! ⛳️
Great video. For me I have a ping g430 3 hybrid at 19 degree. It is my fairway finder off the tee if driver is not an option. Sold my 5w and 7w. Also have a 4,5,6 hybrid also made my game easier and more fun.

Yes I think that’s becoming more popular! Hybrids are great. Getting rid of the 4/5 iron! Hybrid worked great out of the rough too 😁⛳️
