Hi there Alex could I ask for your expertise to look at a canvas I was left by my nanna which is of the hey waine however on removing ack found another 2 constables one a print and one on canvas?
The image is of Constable's very close friend Michael Faraday. Faraday was the famous scientist and it was his influence that meant that Constable's approach to landscape painting was scientific. Constable noted weather conditions and was fascinated by weather and cloud formations etc. I explain this in the talk.
