I very casually play this game... Like once every few weeks, but it is always a pleasure to play. I am on level 89 of the first campaign and it's insane to think about how much more content there is to see. Good review, sir!
Thanks for the compliment. Yeah, Slime-San is great as a game you can easily put down and come back to, and it's a hell of a lot of fun. Really simple but it's all done well and there are a ton of levels even if you're not going for 100% completion.
That's pretty much what this is. The individual levels are smaller than SMB's but the same concept is there. Definitely check it out; it's good ol' simple platforming done well. There's a demo on Steam so you can get an idea for yourself on how the game feels.
I know, I know! There are so many games I want to play but haven't yet. One day I'll get around to Shovel Knight, Hollow Knight, and A Hat In Time, among others. I just already have a hell of a backlog as is.
I hv not played anything like super meat boy since super meatboy. I loved that game it's my top 5 arcade indies of all time. Heard Celeste, this, and some switch game where u are a black blob are the closest thing.
Super Meat Boy is great and I’ve since played Celeste which is excellent. I think the game you’re talking about is The End Is Nigh, which also looks good. I’m glad these simple and tough platformers are getting more games; it’s a specialized genre I like a lot.

Been itching for another Super Meatboy style game, and this looks like the next best thing from how you've put it.

"can't turn off screen shake". I'm out.
I knew you would be; it'd be pretty messed up if I didn't mention it seeing how annoyed you were by it in Death Road to Canada.
Adds to the character of the game.
0:17 wait... you haven’t played Celeste, go do that it’s amazing
