I made bowls, painted the outside with acrylic paint to look like wood, then put a thin layer if resin inside the bowl, then added waterslide, then another thin layer of resin. Got a beautiful set of dishes
Cornstarch, glue, white acrylic paint and you can make textured paste as well. Depending how thick you make how it will give the look! Great technique though with the mix 2 mold! Love it! ❤
Yes I have made textured paste many different ways and chalk paint and air dry clay and gesso and lol the list to continue forever- but the Mix2Mold is by far my favorite of all for the paint and texture paste, The finished product is just so much smoother and harder😍
Just tried Resincrete yesterday, and oh boy. As someone with neurological problems, I could have been filming an episode of "I Love Lucy"! 🤣Powder and liquid Resincrete everywhere! My project didn't turn out bad, but geez! I'm sure Mix2Mold would yield similar comedic results! Thought I'd share, since your projects seem to go so smoothly 😁
Hi Beth and family. 👋 Great mini haul, as always. 😍❤️ I love watching your experiments with mix2mold. Still hoping it'll become available in the UK at some point and wondering if ecopour will work in a similar way... 🤔 ❤ It stuck so well to the plastic lid, which I was not expecting! The raised shell is beautiful and the drips on the glass are amazing. 😍❤️
That is one technique but not the one I was going for, I wanted it to be raised and thicker than what I would have achieved by using a card, there is always many many different ways of using all products😍
This was a great tutorial, Beth. I remember doing similar back in the 80's with gypsum and glue to texture my art before mix2mold was invented. 🎨💙
Thank You! 😍
Wow! thanks for the inspiration and testing new ways and sharing with us! You are awesome.
Aw Thank You So Much, but I think all of you are the awesome ones for watching! 😍
I Love this. Thanks for sharing, I love this mix 2 mold dripping down the glass and stencils.😍

Thank You Amey, I sure had fun playing last night 😍

Oh you made me laugh because I can so relate I have many projects that have not gone smoothly at all lol sometimes I’m wearing more of it😍
I'm making my friends custom dishes for Christmas.. I did seal the outside of them with mix2mold gloss sealer, five coats of it

Thank You So Much, Sorry it took so long to respond😊
Beth, less is more on stencils. Use a palette knife to spread over the mixture then use an old credit card and scrape the excess off.

Beth, I started saving my lids from medicine bottles for glue or paint. They work great. Haven’t used the bottles in a craft yet, any ideas?
Maybe go on that companies website and see if they sell those little glue trays as accessories.
Great idea
