- Damon Harge was at it again at the 2013 CrossRoads Elite National Camp in Tennessee. The UA-cam sensation made defenders look silly scoring from all over the court and showing that he deserves the attention he receives for his outstanding ball handling skills. The Class of 2018 phenom is now playing his 8th grade season in Florida.

Yes, he's born April 12th, 1999 which does mean he reclassified once. But most of these guys he plays against are older than HIM. Plus the dudes got a harder work ethic than most college players. The kid does have a long time to grow and improve until his junior and senior years in high school. So stop hating on Damon.

The kid is obviously great and has definitely put in a ton of work to get where he is. Nobody is born with those moves, they need to be worked on over and over again, and none of you can take that away from him, though many of you try.
My suggestion to those who claim they are so much better, put your own you tube channel up and we will all be the judge. The sad thing is, as a society, we've all lost so much hope that nobody sees their own success in the success of others anymore. Instead, it's dog eat dog. Shame on us all.
I give this kid a ton of credit for succeeding on so many levels... personal dedication, commitment, focus, positivity, and if for nothing else, he sure knows how to bring the Haters out and that's good, because now we all know who they are.
I don't know if this kid makes the NBA or not, but I would bet anything that he becomes a success in life, and if you do your research on me, I don't lose many bets my friends.
Life and basketball have the same playbook and strategy. Work harder then everyone around you, be creative, take shots, and don't be scared to fail. That's the key to life and this kid has got it!

Yes. That is true. While your comment is actually a technical one that effectively critiques his game without disrespecting the kid, the other stuff I was reading was pure hatred and devoid of any factual truths. I agree totally that players can be over-drilled and that a good balance must be struck between crating muscle memory and actually playing the game. I haven't seen enough to know where he is at.. my point was I applaud him for making this great effort to be something and somebody. Your point is well taken however.

Football: good grades, a strong offensive line, RB that won't go down, is big and really fast, and a QB that can actually get the ball to the RB before the RB blows past him.
