Sprawl kicks ass ! Thank you for all the vids I pretty much look to you for a lot of new gear . There’s tons of videos for every new piece of gear that comes out but You always seem to take each product through its paces and push it to its limits so we all can see just what it can do . I love that because I can always get an idea of how it might fit in my set up .
Great year Joey! Dug the releases and always a fan of your gear reviews. Hoping one day to make the cut for your label with some of my own shit. Cheers!
Great review of 2024...i need to check out those 4ms & Forge TME module....i have to admit i did purchase the Elektron Syntakt based on your previous vids on Elektron in general,,,,however, have you ever reviewed the Destiny Plus Czochralski cells? So Radical and aggressive...i have to imagine you would love that Large Modular synth
The purpose of modular is for each person to build their own custom synth in the vision of the moment. So it's all good, you like the new piece in your rig and use it ? That makes it top 10. Thanks for telling us your personal top 10, and next time it could even be top 20 :woo:
agree and learning experience as well since building modular forces you to learn the building blocks of sound design and synthesis. Hardware synths abstract and hide much of this like VCAs and how they affect envelopes and filters for example.
After buying tons of gear and my Virus TI2, had zero need to buy anything else. Just Virus TI2 keyboard and sequencer can play and record entire albums of many genres of music. Sad it was discontinued and no new model of Virus.
I'm with you on the Life pedal, Peak, Digitone and OXI One, staples for me too. You might enjoy Old Blood Noise Endeavours pedals too, specifically Beam Splitter.
I'd quite like to see you test the Behringer Kobol Expander sometime, to my ears it sounds significantly different to all the other similar Behringer synths, I think due to its unique oscillators. It just has a lot of raw clarity to the tone and crispness with the fast envelopes.
I got a Game Changer Plasma Drive and Retro Mechanical Labs Electron Fuzz Custom, both are great distortion modules, the Fuzz can give you that Nine Inch Nails sound.
Can oxi replace keystep pro? I like it for creating/ changing all note-related stuff, but it's hard to play with gates. Ans it's limited. Only 4 tracks. All drums are sequenced by A4.
I got Brrenso last year, and i just cant stop abusing it is the best complex oscillator ever. Also share your opinion and experience on Grainity, Peak and OXI one
I'm not into modular. Never the less, Blush Response is clearly THE numero uno on UA-cam when it comes to synth demo's or in-depth synth reviews. Forget about fake Doctor Mix clowns or Espen Kraft 80's wannabees. This channel ROCKS!! Thank you Blush ! ! !

I don't like one stop shop do all modules because it hinders my creativity. It's why I went modular in the first place. I'd never own an Ornament in Crime, that's a bad module. It's an ADHD thing.
Ornament & Crime is nice to fill the gap or try new things: need a precise Volt-source? Wanna try out what this Turing Machine sequencer is about? Chaotic LFO? Shift register quantizer? Cv to USB Midi? 303 style sequencer? ☑️☑️☑️☑️☑️☑️ There are people willing to write your personalized firmware!

Right with ya on the Digitone II and the Oxi One. Both amazing pieces of kit!
Vhikk X! May the Forge be with you 👊
Thanks for all you do and turning us on to cool gear.

Great stuff, thank you! totally blown by sounds from VHIKK X, can't wait to start exploring it
You rock
Happy for your success and appreciate your vibe.
Man you toured with Frontline! Incredible.
Just got my Analog Rytm and Virus TI 2. Thanks for making such clear and useful content around this style.
Right at the time, im on the grid cosplaying my mid life crisis system
You are one of my inspiration to start in electronics industry, Thank you and greetings from Puerto Rico…🔥👍
A year of BIGTIME achievements! Love that your keeping the genre alive and kicking ass
sweet the Vhikk is in there ! i wanted one for a few years since there almost impossible to get

I have come to the same conclusions on several of the same pieces of gear you have covered on here. The Meta Module especially. Bravo to 4ms.

That Klavis filter is so so dope. Gassing for it hard

White doves for mine.
Respect
I KKKNNNNEEWWWWW the forge tme was gonna be #1 lol
I'm pretty sure I'll be buried with my VHIKK X. I'm losing my mind waiting for stock of the Collide 4 tho
It reminds me a little of Scarlett Johansson in SNL selling Italian marble columns 😂
Couldn’t agree more RE Vhikk X. Melbourne represent 👌
I use the OXI ONE with EVERYTHING ! .
awesome you toured with FLA one of my all time favorite bands!

if I had the disposable income I would totally get the motor synth thing sounds awesome
Always wanted the motor synth but it’s been out of reach for me personally because of the price . Hopefully someday !
I use my zoia pedal sort of like that 4ms module. Jealous about that screen!
No links to the gear?

Joe, if you had the money to buy either Collide4 or Brenso, what would you pick?

You mentioned having a Yamaha EX5 at one point. What was your take on it?
Yes please help me to figure out how to adjust the depth of aftertouch on the Keybed of the Yamaha EX5… if possible, please someone here online

@@el_dani the 4ms shits all over the ornament and crime. i have both, am going to sell the O_C

Turn down the thermostat dude
It's all the gear he has together with camera lights producing the heat.

Even Kemper, there’s nothing new there in terms of the tech. It’s just being recycled into smaller form factors with corners cut.
You’ve got some serious electro pollution happening in your environment!
Brenso ❤
Autechre? Say less, fam.
