I love how MatPat doesn’t sound like he’s explaining something, but more like he’s telling a story. There’s a lot more emotion poured into these timeline videos.
His resume must have included the fiery passion he has for his job. Not even death can stop his hot streak of getting hired for Fazbear Entertainment. Truly a great hire to inspire us all when he is gone
As a brother..I sympathize with Mike's story here, the regret of hurting and ultimately blaming yourself for the death of someone you're supposed to protect would hurt like hell, it's why I hope he's actually glamrock, finally able to protect his brother and put an end to the sins of his father.
I rlly do think hes glamrock, remember when gregory got the hippo magnet and then glamrock started apologizing but apologizing a bit way too much over a silly thing like a magnet? What if he wasnt apologizing over the magnet and over what he did in 1983!??
@@oworcaph Thats certainly compelling but I'm not entirely sure that it's that level of apology. It does, however, feel like a family member apologizing for a lackluster gift.
I honestly have no idea how he can deliver the line "There was only so much a man filled with robot spaghetti could do" in such a serious tone without laughing
To be fair, that might be because MatPat is just so intimately familiar with FNAF's lore and characters by now. Dude's been studying this franchise for almost a decade now, he probably could earn a PhD in FNAFology with everything he knows about it.
Damn I remember when the revelation of “the spring-lock suit failed on William because it was in a puddle of water” was a big deal. Now we’re in a four-part timeline series about an entire family affair and a killer’s consciousness being preserved through technology. And to think this all started because the fans didn’t want MatPat to talk about Slenderman.
@@Master_K14 Wait, I think I remember this. Back then, when he had ideas for theories, he had the comment section choose between two franchises. If I'm not thinking wrongly, the episode before the first ever FNAF theory video, he did ask us to choose between a Five Nights at Freddy's theory and a Slenderman one. Unless the Mandela effect is at work, lol.
Honestly, I', morbidly curious to see what he'd have to say about Slenderman. Not sure how much is worth saying if it's just the official games (Eight Pages and The Arrival), since a fair bit of the Slenderman lore was added by a community at large to my understanding.
Yeah, saw her by accident in UCN and I was far more scared because I couldn’t find a proper way to describe her in the Google search bar and thought I was hallucinating
I think we can all agree that the fact that the entire video that MatPat did not even mention Music Man once or even do the meme, goes to show that he really made this theory truly intriguing for the fans.
Hebrews 12:14 Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. Acts 3:19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, James 2:24,26 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. John 3:16 'For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 3:19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.
I literally got shivers once I saw the elevator. It's absolutely insane how Matt is able to piece together lore from 10 different places; and the craziest part is that it all makes sense... too much sense.
I finally understand why the FNAF fanbase is deeply passionate about the franchise. The lore is just too interesting, filled with fright, loss, pain, love, and hatred and passion.
I like the touch of Mat narrating and going of on a little tangent when something happen to the person we're following like Afton getting springlocked and Micheal getting scooped
Not only is MatPat making this more intriguing of him actually putting out a very fleshed out timeline of FNAF, but he is also still keeping us engaged on telling his own stories that actually may be canon to the actual lore. Especially the plot points and certain characters that are still very complicated like the Mediocre Melodies for example.
While like it. Im confused, he’s saying mike burned the older locations at end his work week using the fnaf3 hallucinations being burnt to prove it which makes sense, but if William was sealed in the secret room waaaaay back before then after getting sprung then how come he’s not burnt in fnaf3?
I just like how William Afton made a confession of his sins through a methodical plan. By allowing Michael to go in his basement if he dies, he basically prepared a safety plan for his son to know what he had done.
I think that the amount of emotion MatPat puts into these narratives is absolutely amazing, and it really makes you feel sympathetic for each of the characters, especially William, which seems kinda difficult to do considering he’s a child murderer. Another great job Mat!
On the topic of feeling bad for william, I wonder what happened to that fnaf into madness game. I kind of hope if it’s still coming out, its a prequel that takes place in fredbears family diner and its about Williams backstory. Hence the name, “into madness”.
This really makes Michael Afton more of a tragic story than we realized, living with the guilt of accidentally killing his brother and being haunted by the sins of his father all his life...I'm hoping he was able to let go at the end
You know I am glad to still see that MatPat has still not giving up on solving all of the FNAF lore. And not only is he trying to explain it more clearly and simple, he is also making sure on giving us such a tragic story on how FNAF truly is a horror media franchise about the darkest and tragic times at your childhood place.
What is interesting to me is how it seems to be reccuring theme for Scott such as robots.. Desolate hope was pretty much about lives that could be but wouldn't if i remember correctly
Love how Afton is changed to his FNAF 2 sprite at 6:30 after Michael realizes how evil he was. Something about that sprite is extra creepy for some reason.
He gets so into character, you can tell this means so much to him. When he was yelling “MAKE IT STOP” He put so much emotion, like he was feeling the pain, yet still made it feel like he wasn’t interfering
Im glad that Matpat calls out the parts of the lore that he doesn't know and as much as some may make fun of Matpat for the craziness of Fnaf, he really is doing his best to make this all fit into logical story
I think those simple portions and dates can be explained as there was never meant to be this large of a story. Hell, there was never meant to be any story. So if there was more fore planning, the dates would be in a more specific order.
Yeah, my ex-friend just says that he's 'jumping to conclusions' and 'none of it makes sense' but I mean- One: It's a **theory**. No matter how correct it may be, these all start out as theories. And two: He tries his best. Heck, better than they could ever do! This is the reason I've never really liked them-they were always a bit of a downer. (random info you didnt need to know :p)
“Although for one of you, the darkest pit of hell has opened to swallow you whole. So dont keep the devil waiting, old friend” That line send chills down my spine.
The delivery of these timeline videos is legitimately making me tear up. The emotions in Mat's voice and the overall narration of the story that confused us for YEARS that is now making a complete sense with character arcs and motivation is just so so satisfying. And as we always know, but often overlook, this story is so damn dark and depressing.
MatPat: *spending restless hours of his day trying to figure out fnaf lore through complicated resources* Markiplier: *Literally guesses the lore on his first/second play through of each game*
That audio of William shouting "MIKE! HELP ME!!" is so chilling to the bone, and it honestly is one of the factors that makes me believe this theory the most
I was under the impression that FNAF 4 are the nightmares of Evan William’s youngest child and that the last night of that game when you hear William say “I’m going to put you back together” that that leads into the whole story of William experimenting with children and the animatronics
There's a level of satisfaction in seeing everything getting connected, finally, after so many years, so many characters, so many locations and nights, the story is being put back together. Onward with the Final Chapter.
I love how, despite being a crazy hot pile of mess, the FNAF storyline is still weirdly consistent. There is clearly a lot of love poured into it, and I can't imagine how many hours Scott spent reading his own hints and plot points from all the games, making sure they continue making sense even when the entire story is turned on its head. One example of this is the firing notice from FNAF 1. Odor. What was once a mere hint at the presence of bodies inside the animatronics later evolved to be a reference to Michael's scooped, decaying body. And, most peculiarly, it served both purposes. It had set us on track to unravel the first five murders, back when the lore was much simpler, but later evolved with the games, and with us. Same hints played different roles at different points of our collective knowledge, and this is something that makes me unbelievably proud of this series and it's author. I just can't imagine myself writing something even remotely coherent while having to write it backwards, in a self-fulfilling prophesy kind of way
Except it's not consistent, not really. He's had to include caveats in the last two videos because of glaring inconsistencies. That's the problem when you don't have the whole story mapped out from the start. It's not bad, but any attempt to tie everything together into one coherent story - including Scott if he ever tries to release a definitive timeline - is going to end up with plot holes, contradictions, and inconsistencies.
Love that mattpatt brought back the dream theory during the section he was explaining Mike's nightmares as he was going around being an avenging arsonist
I had a dream where fnaf finally ended, and the true ending for the last game was matpat waking up from dream while writing the first fnaf theory, let’s all hope this wasn’t some prophetic dream. For Matpats sake
Do you ever have prophetic dreams because i do apparently Literally one day i remembered having already been through but no one else knew about it sooo...
Kind of reminds me of my headcannon that the box from fnaf 4 does contain the peices put together, in the form of a link to all of matpats fnaf theories
I think the discrepancy with the pay slips is simply because Scott hadn’t thought that far ahead yet in the timeline, and so just slapped on a date that felt like it would be at the height of popularity for a place like Freddys
no in fnaf 1 scott didn't put the year for Mike's paycheck, in fnaf 2 Jeremy's paycheck shows the year 1987 to tell the player that it's a prequel. He didn't just put it there without a reason
One thing I really like about this series is that Mat uses some real life stuff in his story like the Sister Location closing for gas leaks (and the real life leaks) and how Fazbear Frights (FNAF 3) was supposed to be the end but wasn’t
I like that Mat admits that not everything 100% fits. A lot of theorists tend to just put out what their theories and not really say if some things don’t fit
The one thing that can explain the dates issue, and that no one seems to remember, is that Scott has said that he *has* retconned his story *once* (Although he made sure to not say where) and I think that could help explain the issues with the dates in this theory.
@@brainalien67 Which f him for that by the way, we have to read into cryptic clues, and now some are not correct and we have no way to know which ones to trust. He should put out a update with the changes or just admit them. That the story is still needing this much work to figure out after all these years, throw a bone already. Frankly I dont think he ever really had a deep story written out, He had a vague idea of one, but just threw stuff at a wall and lied that it was there, then built around the fans theories while never quite using them.
@@brainalien67 He also stated it wasnt a MASSIVE change. And it almost certainly refers to the FNAF 2 minigame where Charlie died. One where she was referred to as "he".
I like Michael's redemption arc. He truly redeemed himself for that terrible act he committed on accident when he was only a kid. The dude is probably the biggest hero in the franchise
Honestly I agree. It's either him or Henry. He made a big mistake in his past, but then sought not just to fix it,, but also all the repercussions of it. That's a story arc, and I love it.
As far as the dates on FNAF2 go, it very well could be that Jeremy is the last employee before it closes down only for Mike to pick up the job years later. It’s a logical leap, but it’s possible that the reason these long closed restaurants suddenly needed security guards was only in anticipation for Fazbear Frights. Whoever was building the attraction possibly wanted to get their hands on more pieces of Fazbear history and so needed someone to guard the locations until they could get their hands on the animatronics.
💡 what if Mark and mat pat played FNAF together or see who dies the least now that sounds like a video idea 💡 Edit 1: thanks for the like(s) and maybe if this gets enough likes he will at least consider it?? Who knows...
Damn, when FNAF and it's theories began, I was 13 y/o. Now I'm 20, nearing 21 and sooo many things have changed. Thank you Matt, you made me feel like a kid again
@@SomePerson_Online well yes, the suits were stinky, but why would they fire michael for odor that didn’t come from him? michael was also stinky as a rotting corpse
@@SomePerson_Online in the pink slip it’s odor from Michael, in the newspaper clippings on the wall it mentions odor from the animatronics. There are separate odors
It was believed that Eggs was actually copiously sweating out of terror, and I imagine had even wet his pants, which would technically explain the odor. This was before we learnt that he's a zombie.
MatPat has done such a great job uncovering this even the creators of this series didn’t know this. He uncovered the story of what they intended it to be but never understood it was.
yeah and when he is talking abt micheals rage or how william was begging to die in ultimate custom night he was able to put a huge amount of emotion in those lines
I was watching this with earbuds in, and I accidentally started some music... so just as Henry's monologue and William's cries for help were being played in their intense audios, the "Dragons Den" from 'How To Train Your Dragon' also swelled. And let me tell you, that is quite the experience.
@@Blizzzful I’m actually talking about more recently, too. It’s what I like to call “Game Theory,” with the Tale From The Pizzaplex book story “Help Wanted.”
I think michael could hide his odor sometimes but after being 6 hours in a place without cleaning himself everything would start to smell again, i thing the odor comes mostly from his insides i suppose that instead of looking purple his skin was pale so he didn't exactly looked like a walking corpse
Dang. I'm speechless, MatPat. That emotion you put in, it was unlike anything I've seen before. We all know you have a theater background, but rarely do you show off your skill of storytelling. Incredible job, MatPat, simply impeccable!!! I can only imagine what the rest of the story will entail.
Cassidy keeping William alive in Ultimate Custom instead of torturing him in in some kind of after life makes perfect sense. It really diminishes Michael's and Henry's sacrifice but it really sets up the future games very well.
It also fits with advice of old man consequences, "leave the demon to his demons, there is nothing else here" he wanted Cassidy to let go so Afton could be sent to hell properly not that poor imitation of hell that Cassidy kept him in, and also for Cassidy to move on as well.
I love how these videos are structured. It felt so much like a story, like there was actual attention and emotion in this franchise, rather than just listing off the order of events.
I like to think back to the release of Fnaf 1. Sure, the odor part supports the Mike Afton is the security guard theory, but all that lore can only have come later in the series. No way Scott was like: Okay so these animatronics are haunted because they were killed by a murderer, whose son found out about the experimenting on children of his father who was then scooped apart, filled with a mess of wires and the spirit of his dead sister kept alive because of this remnant stuff, so he's essentially a walking corpse which is why he has an odor.
The fnaf 3 springtrap jumpscare has always been so anticlimactic. Just him… walking up to you calmly. It’s a father greeting his son after years apart from one another. You can almost hear the calm “Hello, Michael” that would come afterwards…
I would like to thank all the editors for all their hard work on this channel and the other three. Without any of you we would not get these great amazing videos. So thank you from the bottom of all of our hearts
I think Mike’s journey began way before Sister Location, and it might’ve partially been a thrill-seeking/investigative venture on his part. He probably used fake names just because he knew that there were rumors about his father and wanted to steer clear of any potential drama. He was also probably unaware of how much danger he was in because he’s never canonically been killed by the restaurant animatronics.
You know, I think that might have some merit. Maybe he didn't start burning them until after sister location? The first/second (whichever had 1987 written on it) game probably was, as you said, him going on a thrill-seeking thing, because of the date, and after he got scooped, that's when he turned to arson. Who knows? After all, it's just a theory.
I truly hope your comment gets more views because this is what I was thinking. Michael had to have started going around to the restaurants on his own for some reason that has nothing to do with finding his father until William did disappear. Maybe Michael also noticed the animatronics starting to act oddly and started his own investigation
But only from an outside perspective. A journalist piecing it all together, then being haunted by nightmares of the past event as little parts of remnants they picked up while investigating locations and evidence managed to infiltrate their body.
I really respect your work here mat. I believe most of the theory presented here is true. The only thing bugging me is the identity of the two workers we find dead in sister location. if sl is under the afton house, where could they have come from. I might be missing something but the story is very coherent anyway. Thank you for all these years of theorisation :)
The first game came out when we were 8 or 9. Now we are 18/19, fully grown and our questions being put to rest. My childhood would not have been the same without you, Matpat
I have been watching these theories since I was 11 years old. I’m now 18. A game I’ve been a fan of from such a young age. And to think the lore of the series is coming down to being solved is wild to me. Thanks Matt pat for giving me so many great memories during my childhood and teen years.
Mike's story is just so sad to me. Living with his regrets for the rest of his life, cleaning up after his father and then his tragic end. "And to you my brave volunteer-" idk it all just hits very hard for me
It may be sad, but he's also guilty for "accidentally" killing his own brother. That accident feels more intentional considering Michael should of known how dangerous the Springlocks were & he was definitely old enough to know better than to prank his brother in such an extreme way.
@@thechoirtar6077oh, there’s no doubt that was a act of pure cruel bullying. i think, that in this extreme case, mike as an older sibling had felt the pressure and abuse of his father (cause let’s be real, william for sure abused mike) and the absence of his mom (whether that be physically or emotionally). and in typical cruel kid and older brother fashion, he made his brother his release. he took out his anger on him, and pushed his most important buttons: his fear of the animatronics. i would wager mike didn’t fully understand the mechanics of the spring locks, and definitely was not trying to kill his younger brother. traumatize and scar for life? sure. maim and kill him? no. but he suffered the repercussions none the less.
and ultimately spent the rest of his life, and afterlife, working to clean up his and his fathers mistakes. defiantly a flawed and guilty hero, but a hero still in my eyes.
You know the game is expertly constructed in lore when the internet's best theorizer and detective has spent almost a decade tryna figure this thing out .
Honestly though, I'd barely know anything about what is now probably my favourite horror story (the story of the franchise up to FNAF 6) if it weren't for MatPat. THANKS!!!!

I remember watching Markiplier play the original five nights at Freddy's and seeing game theory try to speculate on what's really going on and thinking to myself "It's a malfunction, they're not haunted, that would be stupid..." Oh boy is my face red 😅😂
You know looking back on this even a year later, you have to admit that - whether you think Matt was right or wrong on this timeline - he presented it in probably the best way possible, telling it like an epic 4-part story and leaving the explanation for stuff either at the end or in little pop-ups in the corner. Nobody else would've done that or made it nearly as fun to watch/listen to
Literally got chills watching this, it’s so satisfying to hear audio from the games with context! Now fully understanding why they are saying what they’re saying, it’s a sigh of relief
I just turned 18 two days ago and I started watching these when I was about 12. Having these final theories feels right to wrap up my childhood as I’m finally becoming an adult feels right.
Dude, he should play William Afton in the newFnaf movie coming out soon. MatPat doesn’t sound like he’s explaining something, but more like he’s telling a story. There’s a lot more emotion poured into these timeline videos.
I think the most basic summation for Mike working at the old places and being attacked despite the animatronics already being 'scrapped' is simply this: The Paychecks for the core week are there to tell us when stuff went down at those locations. All of the animatronics moving and attacking us during the gameplay? That's Mike facing his nightmares. Remember that in the very first theory Mat said the place was already very rundown and the tapes weren't meant for us. The pink slip endings are what Mike gets when it's discovered he's been trashing the locations he's ostensibly keeping watch over.
Wait- that would also make sense and tie in with the original dream theory. If each game is a nightmare of what has already happened, then the burned animatronics don’t seem as out of place
Henry's speech during Pizzaria simulator canon ending is one of my favorite moments in fnaf. I also love how, again based on Henry's speech, he didn't spill over his resentment for William unto Mike. He understood that he was, like Matpat said, collateral damage. Just another victim to William's insanity. From the tone, it's like he feels sorry for Michael for getting involved in all of this. While Michael did play a part in the death of brother, it was still an accident, a tragic one
Can you imagine how angry Micheal must've been the moment he got scooped? Sure, he looks like William, but I would be a little ticked off that my own sibling used me as a skin suit.
I mean, it's been explicitly said that Elizabeth is somehow possessing Baby. However, Baby using this info to manipulate Michael, making him think it's her sister, is a bit interesting, puts into perspective of the series of who's really Elizabeth, and who's really Baby.
Guys we really need to give Team Theory a clap and a half…they’re running 4 channels and making sure they give us the best quality content. We truly appreciate all the hard work that goes into these videos
Mike is the best character, not just because he’s in pretty much every game, but the idea of a character trying to undo his dead* father’s work and the fact that even though his insides were ripped out and he was basically a walking corpse he still kept trying to leading to him creating the single best video game ending ever made in the history of the universe. I think you know why Micheal is the best by now anyway but he’s just such a cool character. *=William isn’t actually dead I just couldn’t think of another word.
I'm hoping the Mike we get in the FNAF movie (if we do get him) will keep his core character traits, even if everything after FNAF 3 won't be a part of this franchise. Let him be a suspicious but ultimately well intentioned security guard. It would be a great way of changing the narrative from the Silver Eyes but ultimately keeping it the same. Imagine it! A group of teenagers visit the now closed pizzeria only to find a weird figure roaming the halls. The animatronics suspect him of being the killer but he's actually the killer's son trying to make things right.
From leaks we can see it’s very different from the games. SPOILERS: la la la don’t look too far ahead of you don’t want them. Springtrap is gonna be in it, as well as Vanessa and a young Vanessa. Mike is listed as mike Schmidt and is seen beating up Afton in a clip that was filmed by an onlooker.
Everything in fun f3 want to be a part of this franchise. What him be suspicious but intentioned security guard. That would be a great way of changing The narrative of the silver I immediately kept it the same. Imagine the group of teenagers visit the nPizzeria if only a random figure Roaming the halls . The animatronics suspect Emma being the killer expect him of being the killer but he's he's actually the son of the trying to make things right.
Funny when you realize fnaf 3 came out in 2015, yet it takes place in 2023. This video came out in 2023. Thus meaning we finally were able to figure this out in the year that game took place. I’m not sure if I was able to describe that well, but it’s honestly amazing.
Before I even watch this, I just wanna say, MatPat is honestly the best, he's breaking his mind and probably getting mental concussions diving into the lore to get it out to us. The dedication and commitment shows, and it's amazing, Thanks Mat
Scott straight up showed us in the novels - *the concept of robokids and duplicates/copies are a real thing.* Idk why so many think this idea is the most far-fetched/crazy thing in regards to this series 😆 Like it or not, *somebody in the game is robot or a copy fam* 😅
Tbh, I am really thankful for all of the videos matpat has made. These past few months I have really gotten into his theories and they are an essential part of my UA-cam experience.
Same here. I got into fnaf after the second game came out, and I used to watch youtubers from my country who straight up stole matpat’s theories because I couldn’t speak english back then. Around the release of sister location I realized what was happening and started watching the original videos. Been here non stop since then. Crazy how this dude singlehanded influenced and figured out most of the stuff we know about this franchise
I love how after so many years MatPat is still so committed to FNAF😆Just imagine how when a movie comes out Scott'll be like:"Here is something else to mess up this whole timeline, and guess what, multiple movies!"
Ok so we got -Confusing game lore -Books to make the game lore even MORE confusing -And now movies to continue on with confusing fans Did I miss anything?
This full timeline theory so far is making me even more excited for the FNAF movie. If this theory is even 3/4 close to what Scott intended, then this movie could honestly be one of the most tragic and compelling stories in all of horror IF DONE RIGHT.
Henry's closing monologue is still by far the best thing Scott has ever written. No one would ever suspect it came from a FNAF game!

The Story is broken
But the fandom will put it back together again

3:16 'For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
3:19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.
I just love how Mat Pat can stick with one theory for years and years.
@Jack Wrath bad bot
Without being a complete loon.
@Txxx Cxxx no your not
@@HashknightGaming debatable
I mean, he's altered this theory a lot over the years.
I remember watching Markiplier play the original five nights at Freddy's and seeing game theory try to speculate on what's really going on and thinking to myself "It's a malfunction, they're not haunted, that would be stupid..." Oh boy is my face red 😅😂
honestly, them not being haunted but just malfunctioning robots is also a scary thought
i honestly preferred them as just glitched robots TBH.
that would’ve made for a better story where robots malfunction and go on a killing spree
@No, that's wrong. cuz then it could happen anywhere anytime unless we find out what causes it
To think that they aren't possesed in this day and age in fnaf is to summon the fnaf theorist community to end your existence.
At 10:32 this actually explains why when he gets fired in fnaf 1 it also says for odor
Matpat is able to make you feel something when telling a story, this power of happiness and pride turned to backstabbed and hurt
Imagine how much easier MatPats life would be if we had just chosen Slenderman all them years ago 😭💀
I want this to be an audiobook now...this lore is so interesting, and thank-you to MatPat and Team Theorist and this community for making this happen!
OH MY GOD YESS I NEED AN AUDIOBOOK 🤩
already one if u dont look at the vid
I know it feels so weird to me but like it’s a nice way to start adulting
Happy belated birthday!
weird isnt it
Ayo happy late birthday internet person
I started getting into fnaf at age 9 and I just turned 17 a few days ago too, happy belated birthday, stranger!
I have never played FNAF or read the books, but this series explained the entire lore extremely well, even to someone who has never tried the game.
Games are fun. I usually just ignore the lore and enjoy myself.
agreed, most theorists expect the audience to play the game, but MatPat makes it understandable to those who cant.
Dude, he should play William Afton in the newFnaf movie coming out soon. MatPat doesn’t sound like he’s explaining something, but more like he’s telling a story. There’s a lot more emotion poured into these timeline videos.
The movie already came out, matpat was in it but he wasnt william
If each game is a nightmare of what has already happened, then the burned animatronics don’t seem as out of place
shut up lol
No replies? Lemme fix that
Is it really Elizabeth tricking Mike? It would make more sense that Baby pretended to be Elizabeth to make him do what she wants.
I mean, it's been explicitly said that Elizabeth is somehow possessing Baby.
However, Baby using this info to manipulate Michael, making him think it's her sister, is a bit interesting, puts into perspective of the series of who's really Elizabeth, and who's really Baby.
To be fair if my littlr sister did that id be annoyed but like you gotta at like give a sibling-fashioned apology
@@mrjohnful what you said is literally called tricking someone
Matpat... you will always be remembered
Guys we really need to give Team Theory a clap and a half…they’re running 4 channels and making sure they give us the best quality content. We truly appreciate all the hard work that goes into these videos
True dat. This is true. WE NEED MORE LOVE FOR TEAM THEORIST!!!!!
5 channels with gtlive
Mike is the best character, not just because he’s in pretty much every game, but the idea of a character trying to undo his dead* father’s work and the fact that even though his insides were ripped out and he was basically a walking corpse he still kept trying to leading to him creating the single best video game ending ever made in the history of the universe. I think you know why Micheal is the best by now anyway but he’s just such a cool character.
*=William isn’t actually dead I just couldn’t think of another word.
Undead!
Chances are that will never come out
@@chaseworkman why do you say that?
Everything in fun f3 want to be a part of this franchise. What him be suspicious but intentioned security guard. That would be a great way of changing The narrative of the silver I immediately kept it the same. Imagine the group of teenagers visit the nPizzeria if only a random figure Roaming the halls . The animatronics suspect Emma being the killer expect him of being the killer but he's he's actually the son of the trying to make things right.
@@chaseworkman they are filming it rn bro
Funny when you realize fnaf 3 came out in 2015, yet it takes place in 2023. This video came out in 2023. Thus meaning we finally were able to figure this out in the year that game took place. I’m not sure if I was able to describe that well, but it’s honestly amazing.
Before I even watch this, I just wanna say, MatPat is honestly the best, he's breaking his mind and probably getting mental concussions diving into the lore to get it out to us. The dedication and commitment shows, and it's amazing, Thanks Mat
So far, we're 3 for 3 on acceptable parts of the timeline. Hope y'all are excited for Gregbot and the robokids on March 25th!
Well it's still a plausible theory
@@cephlo4933 Gregbot, maybe, but everyone being Elizabeth is a really big stretch you have to admit
@@cephlo4933 I just hate it. Why bring scifi into a dead children animatronic story- haha
@@MoonyFBM The entire genre of fnaf is arguably science fiction. But it's been going off the rails recently
Scott straight up showed us in the novels - *the concept of robokids and duplicates/copies are a real thing.* Idk why so many think this idea is the most far-fetched/crazy thing in regards to this series 😆 Like it or not, *somebody in the game is robot or a copy fam* 😅
17:42 Jesus MatPat is pouring out his emotions and it’s done so well
Tbh, I am really thankful for all of the videos matpat has made. These past few months I have really gotten into his theories and they are an essential part of my UA-cam experience.
Same bro
I mean that’s basically the books. The books are seen as cannon and some are weird dateless and tie within the games just really confusing
Ok so we got
-Confusing game lore
-Books to make the game lore even MORE confusing
-And now movies to continue on with confusing fans
Did I miss anything?
This full timeline theory so far is making me even more excited for the FNAF movie. If this theory is even 3/4 close to what Scott intended, then this movie could honestly be one of the most tragic and compelling stories in all of horror IF DONE RIGHT.
So wish for this
Honestly I will keep my expectations low
