If it doesn't work out with a particular person, that hurts, but it's better than never knowing if it could have been. And if it's a no, it isn't a rejection of you or your worth, it just means you're meant to be platonic with that particular guy and your person is on his way to finding you.

However, one thing, and I don't know how long ago it was recorded, but, you said something about losing your hair. Those peaks at the front corners of your forehead seemed to be climbing higher, and, God "forbid", you'd go..... bald. At that point, I lost some respect for you. Not all of us can help it if we don't have a "perfect head of hair". Some of us, myself included, have inherited a receding hairline, or, male pattern baldness (my case), or, whatever the case may be. My dad found "the spot" on his crown at 45. I found "the spot" around that same time. However, many friends of mine were already shaving their heads, and, instead of adopting the god-awful comb over, that my dad has held onto for almost 40 years (he's 80+ now), I shaved mine down to a buzz cut. Have been for at least 20 years. Neither can I grow decent hair now, nor, in this current heat, do I want a full head of hair. All of this is to say, the respect I lost for you is due to the value you put on your own head of hair. A little too much drama on a part of your body that may change in time.
