Hi Sam, I note on first position both your arms stay basically straight. When you go to second position and beyond, the right arm starts to bend. From a S2S perspective in trying to keep as fewer moving parts as possible, have you tried keeping both arms as straight as possible for as long as possible? I understand it will probably limit rotation but could it achieve a more consistent swing?
Sam, great videos, great instruction but I'm a little bemused about why you advise concentrating on knowing the CARRY with each club? Surely the key thing to know is how far the ball will go, total distance i.e. carry and roll? I appreciate that the speed of the green will have some impact but you will always have to take that into account. I'm struggling to see how knowing the distance to a pin and knowing just the carry of my wedge will help me get close to the hole? Thanks from the UK.
Great video Sam. I did this and have my yardages but was wondering a few things. What is the position of the follow through? Waist high, extend position or explode position ( full follow through)? Is the speed of the turn the same with each position? Thanks
Can u plz do a current chipping video Sam? I'm 50 and playing my best golf ever since learning S2S. Just shot b2b ends in the 70's for the first time!!
Sam my name is Pete and you don’t know me, however, I watched you during your videos with Eric, since that time I’ve implemented the square to square process to my game, I’m definitely hitting it much more solid, I’m still working on my follow through especially with my woods and hybrids, however, my question is around the wedge game, my issue since I’m now hitting the ball more solid, is I’m having trouble controlling my distance especially when it comes to spin. When my ball hits the green rather grabbing and checking the ball seems to run out. I’m using a TP5x with Ping G410 irons, Titleist SM 7 wedges any thoughts or ideas
What you're doing with your Sand wedge I've been practicing vehemently with my Pitching wedge the moment I saw your square to square swing instruction videos some over 2 years ago. My under 100 yard shots have been good not brilliant yet but good. But the square to square turned my short game from "horrible" to good. The square to square gave me back my feel for the golf swing and I am improving slowly but surely. I look forward to every golf season to try out for the US Open. (joke or is it?)
Hi Sam! This is a great way to dial in wedges. I've been doing these for about 2 years already - and will try it with the S2S method.

Do you use the same swing set up an execution with your hybrids
I do this but also take some yardage off by choking up on wedges.

Hi Sam, great video mate. Can you recommend an affordable launch monitor to get these basic stats? How essential is it to know spin rates etc?
Best deal for sure is the Rapsodo MLM2PRo
Best data in a small package is Uneekor mini
Awesome, thanks mate 👍🏻💪🏻
