Thank you for the honest review on MC10. I've been a mixcraft user since MC6 and it is the most user friendly DAW out there. Because mixcraft took so long to drop MC10, I purchased Studio One 6 Pro. While I enjoy the samples on SO6P, mixcraft is still my go-to DAW, because of it's great tools and ease of use. If the samples on MC10 are close to SO6P, I'm upgrading to 10 asap.
Thats not the point. The real issue is if they have made it so much better that you would use it over other DAWs. At this point , UI looks worse and is slower (less responsive), there are software glitches with items, in general the "upgrades" are basic features other DAWs have for free. For example: "Track Regions - select, drag and drop, and copy groups of clips and tracks, including their automations" as a 'Pro' only option is laughable. Every DAW has that for free, its a basic function people use alot.
@@mhavock And why do you insist on using it? Stop busting our balls and use another one man, we are tired of those like you who only protest, $39 two pizzas, don't fuck around with your drama and dedicate yourself to learn some chord. Peace out!
@@mhavockyou got the best deal on the planet to begin with. What are they supposed to make money on? I call it creative marketing. It's not the same crap that everyone else is doing.
I think it looks great IMO. I really don't think there is THE perfect DAW for every person, with that said I really like the look, the work flow and the ease of use that Mixcraft 10 provides. The developers did an amazing job .
I don't know about you but I've gone through about 4 laptops since 2021 when I got Mixcraft. And all those times I saved the projects to upgrade. But migrating my personal settings and presets are then gone. How do you handle that? Not gonna install until I'm able to retrieve things.
Let me ask you bro… does your Mix9 projects sound a slight different in mix10? Because the audio and effects don’t sound as clear as it does on mix9 and I’m wondering is it because I recorded thru Mix9 and not Mix10? Because Mix10 is indeed very stable but it sucks if I can’t get it to sound like how it sounds in Mix9
I did realize this but I believe there are subtle differences in the processors, my mixcraft 9 mixes did sound different but with a few tweaks i had them sounding how i like them
@@RoadRunningBuzz oh okay so pretty much it isn’t as simple as copy and paste lol. I may have to tweak it a little in Mix10 to my liking? I’m loving the stability of Mix10!
OK, here's a couple of features that I can’t find in this new M10PS version. 1. How do I get the measure arrow to automatically return to the original starting point? 2. Where is the separate Audio Mix Volume when listening to Audio loops? Someone, please help!
Number one is in your settings i cant tell you where it is off the top of my head but give me a few and i can tell you Number 2 im not 100% sure whats being asked, are you looking for separate volume controls just for loops?
@RoadRunningBuzz The issue is that there is no volume control on the Audio library. The past iterations had a volume control next to the main Audio phaser control. If there is a way to control this, I can't find it. Hopefully, you can help me with this.
I think Mixcraft 10 was an update designed to address the failings and problems people had on the previous versions, but it didn't add anything cool or new to it. Three and a half years for what we got is not impressive, and seeing a shop listed as a feature on their website was disappointing but considering it only costs 39US to upgrade its a 10/10 for me on price to what you get. Everything is relative. For 39usd its a brilliant deal. But. As an update and for how long we waited it was disappointing
@@RoadRunningBuzz Totally agree man. Mixcraft is a well useable DAW now and you get what you pay for - 39USD for the upgrade is massive. It's good they included some form of plugin sandboxing in it. I'm not sure which DAW's other than Waveform and Bitwig offer sandboxing but Mixcraft having it will be massive for it going forward. Just frustrated with the speed of development etc. I don't want to wait 3 1/2 years again for Mixcraft 11. I guess you are gonna stick with Studio 1 as your main program now? Studio 1 does look sick (as in amazing) as we say in the UK.
You're my go to. I'm just worried I'll lose my current projects and SETTINGS I've made. Are there any new vocal effects?. MXCft 9 does crash when the CPU is overloaded and stressed out. Thinking about getting a gamer PC to use it.
There are some new effects ima do a video on them honestly I'm so use my go to effects that i haven't even given the new ones a shot & yes pc (RAM) plays a major role but also theres just something about mixcraft it cant bear to big of a load
@@RoadRunningBuzzSo bro would you say it’s mainly Mixcraft other than the pc ram/cores? That’s causing crashes when push far because it’s not as powerful as the other daws when it comes to using bigger vst or vst samples?
@reekrodriguez1549 yeah, i can literally open another daw with the same pc and whatever issues i had in mixcraft wont exist so i would say it definitely has to do with how the cpu is being processed in mixcraft
@@RoadRunningBuzz but how’s 10 been compared to 9? , I knew it had sum to do with the daw because my pc specs is on point and should be able to handle things like samples vst etc…. But seems like Mixcraft 9 was bugging when I added that sample (Arcade) from output lol
Hi I agree with the color issue of Mixcraft10, I want to buy it but the dull GUI has stopped me from purchasing it Im used to Reaper, Mutools, Zenbeat where you have high levels of Color customization. I cant work in Brown/Grey DAW no matter how good it is. Im used to a Blue Tone environment for Producing ,I like the features the work flow etc, but not the Color schemes on offer, If they are not going to give us the Color adjusters, at least provide more themes Like VPS Avenger Vst or FL studio, I love Mu tools it is so customisible Color included , Im keen to use Mixcraft Ill get it when they fix the Color issues maybe its a complex thing to change look Id pay extra for a Color adjust ible version its Midi learn is really good for hardware controlers and Touch screen users like me.
I would love too if they send it to me lol, i don’t know if i wanna go out and purchase one especially being that I literally just upgraded my studio recently lol
