My windows have no space on the outside to put in pvc pipes. The windows are flush with the outside of the house. How would you do that?

Not on the exterminates of the roofs but in the roof joints. There roofing meets roofing.

RJ aka BigBase50 just make it snug a you can put a small wedge to keep it tight.
I have had no problems with them
