So you just programmed the remote. The key was ready program? Okay I get it ready the other ones

I'm in the U.S. Kia Forte didn't have a transponder on this model. Look up the "Kia Boys" and you will understand.

For 17 Forte, the key has no chip to program, and need to only program 2 remotes with no pin code needed?

Correct. No chip on USA cars, but Canadian cars will have a transponder. No pin code required and there's no minimum amount of remotes in my experience.
