Very cool right! Yes it worked for both Ford and G.M. Take a look at my recent Blazer video using SPS2. Unfortunately, I can't get any affordable VCI to work with WiTech. The only thing that works is the Cardaq 3+. $$$$

We (USA) don't have a Yaris anymore. The last version for us was a rebadged Mazda. I'm sure you can get it done with Techstream, though.

NASTF is not required. I've bought most of the trainings on the UHS website. The last one I bought was $300 for a VW training. I'm thinking about doing some shorter more specific trainings for much less. Maybe $99 for a start to finish on getting this software up and running. Thanks for the compliment.

NASTF is not necessary for this process. It is required to buy a keycode from G.M.

@@markmccormickkeys it's smart key. It doesn't need a keycode for cutting. It should come with a software package from GM. Thank you for answering my question.

For now, it's not very reliable. I'm pretty sure the aftermarket guys like me are using a different version than the dealers.

I'm also thinking about selling laptops loaded with some of the software.

We get at least 2 calls per week with situations like this. 99.9% of the time it's a bad key. Our customers always want us to "reprogram" but it's never worked. I really don't like charging a customer to try and reprogram knowing it will not work. Keys/remotes rarely lose programming. Keys/remotes often get dropped or get wet and break.

Not for GM. You need Techline connect/SPS and a $45 per vin subscription. A PC and J2534 device is also necessary.

GM shut down all the tools. When I made this video it worked. It no longer works. You need factory scan tool software.

I own the D8s. I'm very happy with it but it no longer does the new G.M. Immobilizer.

Maybe make a video explaining what's the difference from a pre-coated key from an aftermarket just to get the understanding

Yes, you are correct. Also, that light will come on if you program the wrong key to the car. It often happens with cheap aftermarket keys as well.

@@markmccormickkeys Does it matter if you're missing a key? We lost a key to my wife's 2019 Mazda, and I am planning to add one with an Autel KM100. Will it close out with only one original key and the newly programmed key?

Yes! Xhorse has a feature called "Mazda ID 49 smart key light repair" found in special functions. Try it out and let me know what happens. It works every time for me.

Unfortunately no. The only way to program any keys to these cars is using GM software. The aftermarket tools are letting us down on these cars/trucks.
