Perfect tutorial. I had to add a comment to reassure any tufters out there that this tutorial is exactly what you need to follow, and you won’t break your gun lol. My scissors felt kinda blunt, I followed every step of this tutorial and changed them. And everything is working perfectly. Thank you ! Advice : changing the scissors might be the best time to deep clean your gun !

Hello I have the problem with my mashine the yarn doesnt go very well on the face side of the cloth, can you give a advise please

Hey Irina, no that's not possible as far as i know. The needle and everything is set up completely different. You would need to replace loads of the machine (like at least 50% i would say) to make it work. because the setup is very very different
What is the metal hook piece under the scissors? Mine came off idk how to fix it😢
Hi! Thanks for your video. I follow your instructions to change the scissors and when I took off the part with the scissors, a piece is falled.It's a thin and long metal plate with at one extremity a small hole and at the other is finished like a U. The problem is that I have no idea where can I place this pcs. Can you help me?

Hey Paola, no I don't think so. what you can do to trick is to take out the scissors. That would make the machine creating loops. I never tried it tho.

Your seller should provide you with this information. The machines like it this video don't do both.
Hello, I just followed your video to replace the scissors and when I plugged it back in, it made a Big Bang and started smoking.... do you know what could have gone possibly wrong ?:(
Hey Chloe, no, never heard of this before. maybe you did not tighten back something. Sounds like the motor couldn't make the movement.
@@TuftingloveThanks for your reply! yeah that could be it. Looking at it now I think the bottom nut was not tight enough.. ;( oh well, lesson learned!
How many hours a day can you use a tofting gun, so that it does not spoil quickly?
I've never had problems with it get ''hot'' or something and I often tuft the whole day. the important thing is that you have the settings correct and it runs smoothly and you maintain it properly.

could be yes. It could squeezed it instead of cutting and then pull it back.

That sounds like your scissors opener is broken.www.tuftinglove.com/Scissor-opener-for-AK1-and-NK1
You should be able to see it when you look inside the the two top rails. It is mounted to the small metal block on the left top rail.
What is the part called the scissors sit in?
I don't think it has a specific name. You are talking about the U shaped profile right?

i got my gun today and it wasn’t really tufting well so i tried to adjust it and now it’s worse and i can’t figure out how to fix it please help

Hi my cut pile scissors won’t cut the yarn anymore
So the scissors d close and open? But are not cutting? You wanna change the scissors, they cet blunt over time, like your normal scissors and knives.
