Yea . Some places in SA the hard surface is the last of you concerns. The thorns are more of a concern especially if you are primary school player as you have to play bare feet. Only from high school age 14 are boots allowed
@@badgey91 sometimes in england (at grassroots clubs in particular) you can't play for weeks at a time if it rains to much and the pitches get flooded, then again I've had injuries where we've played contact on ground that is to hard
