Super Mario Bros. Deluxe has a lot more to it than you covered. It actually has the ENTIRE Mario Bros 2 game on the cartridge as well! AKA "Mario Bros The Lost Levels". Yeah, the o.g. Mario 2 that was deemed too hard for us noob Americans, and thus we got a reskinned Doki Doki Panic as our "Mario 2" instead. Anyway, you have to unlock it, but it IS there on the same cartridge. I think you have to get the high score... it made me so happy as a kid, because I essentially got a whole new free Mario game to play
Alone in the Dark was visually stunning and impressive as all hell for the GB Color. I've never played it so idk about the game play department but it's amazing what they were able to do visually.
Not a Game Boy or GBC fan. There are a small group of games that I like there, but overall, even though I was the exact demographic for the original black and white model, it hasn't ever been for me. I stuck with my NES and SNES during the original GB run, and when the GBC came out, I went for the Neo Geo Pocket Color instead. No regrets; NGPC was a jam. Glad you're back!!
Three games I think of when I think of "great Game Boy Color games" are Donkey Kong Country (definitely a step up from the Donkey Kong Land trilogy) and the two Mega Man Xtreme games. -If you wanted me to meme an answer here, I'd have brought up Hamtaro: Ham-Hams Unite! instead-
I'd love for you to do a follow-up video focusing on Gameboy Color exclusive cartridges that were not compatible with the original Gameboy. Most lists and videos I have seen regarding their top Gameboy Color games cover titles that still work with the original Gameboy.
@@SecondOpinionGames1 I was able to acquire Game and Watch Gallery 2, 3, and 4 for $30 earlier this year. I only wanted the fourth game because I owned it as a kid. It is difficult for me to get into the series now. A lot of the games are very slow, and they can easily lose my patience when I have to reach a specific score to receive five stars.
Good video! I never had a Game Boy Color system! I did have the Gameboy Advance, which I like! I didn't know, that Duke Nukem' came out on the Game Boy Color. I have played it on the Playstation 1 system! Cannon Fodder is another one, I did not know, that came our for it either! I do have it on the Atari Jaguar, and your right, it's a tough game!
DMG Gameboy seems to have better selection of games than GB Color. Btw, you missed Blade, Spawn, and Donkey Kong Country. These three seem to be the coolest games that GBC has.
@@SecondOpinionGames1 true, very true. I know some of them can be 80 bucks. I get they're made by individuals or very small teams for a dead system. But that's still a big price tag.
@@SecondOpinionGames1 depends on the system and game now. Sega Saturn is NOT cheap at all for most of they're games. And the jag well everything related to it is pretty much a collectors item. Boxes, games. Maybe it's beacuse its atari last console, maybe the history behind it. Maybe just belated appreciation for it. Idk but I've yet to find a console that seems more of a collectors item then the sake of playing games than the jag. I love it to bits, it fascinates me but still very expensive.
Yup! Almost double the speed of the original, and 3 times the ram, according to wikipedia. I was curious myself, and looked it up. The original ran at 4.19Mhz, color at 8
FYI: Red-headed Egon is a character from the Extreme Ghost Busters named Eduardo Rivera. He did have red hair. Love your content! Keep it up sir!!
Egon himself actually appears in said show as the mentor figure of the group.
I know and thanks 🙏

Heck yes the game rocks 🪨

Burger time was fun 😃

Yep I’m all over the place 😃

Good idea 👍
The Zelda Game and Watch game is unlockable in "Game and Watch Gallery 4" on the GBA. You have to get 160 stars to play it.
Ok I’m on it 😃😃😃😃

I try to shine light on the under played games 😃
Speaking of the atari jaguar you shod do more reviews for the games on the jag! Especially homebrew. You seem to be the only person I've fo
I should do more but they are expensive to collect 🤔

When people collect for a dead system it’s because they are cheap. That is part of the fun of it.

when was this bad?
It was a little disappointing that it wasn’t the gba 😃
Interesting.
Did this have an upgraded processor compared to the regular game boy?

@@Ottophil interesting.
And still the games are far less interesting 🤨
