Great explainer for the pro grade units.
Switched from a Titan 440i to a 395 and couldn't be happier. Easier maintenance means it actually gets done. Pump and gun filters are cleaned after every job. Get a package with the newer contractor gun, filter comes out by hand and the needle is a stand alone assembly.
Those black and blue with replaceable pin system are incredible, like 600$ here but worth it for sure. Have a graco prox17, graco Ultimate Nova 395, and a graco 495, all with the contractor guns and 100 ft of hose on the larger sprayers

I just bought a 210 ES and havent used it but i just upgraded from the magnum x7 HUGE DIFFERENCE
Looks like I will be upgrading. I have the 210es. Similar to the 190. But I think 390 or 395 is in my near future.
Is the 210 any good ?

I came across old 390 online. Just wondering if it is worth it as that model doesnt have easy access to piston , so could be damaged or with little life left and costly to replace parts.

I started with a graco x5 bought at homedepot then I got a 390 an then a 395. I burned thru 3 graco x5s my first year and a half lol but I absolutely have had no problems out of them great pumps !

Get a professional Sprayer… a 395 minimum…Will do everything you need and some more. If you decide to sell it it will hold it’s value and you will get most of your money back.
i have the 395 ultra. what’s the difference between that and the nova? also for a replacement pump i need the endurance?
Ultra & Nova are just marketing names….machine is exactly the same. Nova is sold at Sherwin Williams and Ultra everywhere else.
Maybe my question will sound a bit silly but I have to ask. I have a roof painting company ( 20 to 25 roofs per month) Till now I was using cheap sprayers copies of the original Graco, made in China. I have four of them (low boy) with many problems till now but was so cheap and I could just throw them away when they had problems. I decided to upgrade my equipment since my job goes really well and I can not waste my time especially during the job
I bought a Graco 1095 pro Max contractor.
It's my first time I use high boy sprayer, and I was really surprised when I realised, the length of the pump itself is not enough to use a 15 litre or 20 litre can of roof paint
Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated
But I found it really silly to buy a machine that can spray simultaneously with three guns and not be able to use a big can of paint. It's sound as a bad joke

I am a taper and want to purchase a mark 5 or 5, or gmax 5900, which one is better to apply mud level 5?
Mark 5 is what most go with. I've got one to spray heavy epoxies. Works nicely.
Wonder how many housings have been broken by using a hammer to change a pump on the 395. Maybe recommend a rubber hammer.
Probably not that many, we beat the shit out of all our graycos with big ass rocks and hammers and rebar anything we can find. They are tough as hell!
What is the difference between the 490 and 495
Just a little more slightly more powerful motor giving you a max tip of .025 instead of .023 on the 490. I had to chose between those 2 and ended up with the 490.
Gotta say the price-hike for the hi-boy models is a bit much. It's some bent steel.
