My brother recently got diagnosed with ADHD, he’s nine years old. The psychiatrist he went to wanted to prescribe him Ritalin, but thankfully my mum refused. The school my brother attends would literally love to get rid of him, his teacher directly said to my mum that he’s too problematic and she should find him another school. Maybe that’s why this made me cry… I truly admire you and how beautiful a person you are, even though you must’ve been put through a hell similar to the one my brother’s going through right now. So thank you, thank you so much, for being strong and not letting anyone change your opinions, you’re an inspiration.
I feel so sorry for him/your family. School is shit. In my school it's the same thing. You get judged so easily. It needs to stop. Everyone is different and we need to respect that fact. I wish your family the best. Hopefully it'll get better 🖤

michaela school are fucking cunts I was excluded many times because I was going through shit and they just weren’t listening to me at all. I eventually lost it and put my hand through a window and got excluded again like wtf why not actually help rather than making me feel even more shit and put even more stress on my family. I had one teacher fighting my corner because he knew i had brains and could actually get somewhere in life. I’m now a trainee motorsport mechanic. I went back and saw that teacher and told him what I had achieved and he was so proud of me because I was a problem kid and I actually went out there and made something of myself. The school I used to attend don’t class my job as a job because it’s not 9-5 on fuck all money. I’m starting travel the world repairing and racing motorsport cars earning more than most people. I’m just glad I had one teacher fighting for me to stay otherwise I would have been kicked out with fuck all. My story is a rare case unfortunately because teachers only see figures. You are just a number to them. I hope your brother sticks at school and gives it a chance because he can make something of himself
michaela I was going through the same thing that your brother is going through all throughout elementary and middle school, with quite a bit of suicidal thoughts and actions in there too, but now I’m off most of my meds and a high school wrestler, just know that life does in fact get so much better, and that I’m living breathing proof of it. You’ll get there, and you’ll be able to find people who feel like how you feel right now and make their day.

So, I discovered Yungblud through my teenage kid, and we went to see the guy live in San Francisco. I had zero expectations, and man was I blown away! Most parents retreated to the balcony, but I stayed there on the floor with the crowd. It was an incredible show, energy was amazing, Yungblud is so sincere and authentic, you can't fake that, and he has important and profound things to say - not only to teenagers but to all of us. And I did appreciate the fact that he actually knows how to play musical instruments and has true stage presence. An artist to watch for sure!
