I was pregnant in 1999 and my baby died inside of me. The hospital kept saying they couldn’t do anything about it and I had become so toxic. I had 106 fever for over 11 days before they did anything. I was literally dying from the inside out. Maybe more doctors should listen to women because we know our bodies
People need to understand that just because pregnancy is natural, doesn’t mean it’s not dangerous. We have gotten to a point where we have no idea the privilege we have to screen within months whether a pregnancy is viable or not, instead of dying from a still birth where the fetus’s organs were outside its body.

As a man, I don’t/can’t imagine what it would feel like to have a baby growing inside of me, but I can to some degree imagine the horror of a woman who is excited and joyful about becoming pregnant, only to discover that precious life has ended, then having to carry that dead baby inside of her. But having people who are unaware of her condition congratulate her and ask her about the baby’s name really shook me. That’s absolutely horrible. No one who who cares about women wants to see any woman suffer like that.

My cousin had to go through the exact same scenario in the ‘90s; carrying a dead female fetus at 6-months gestation to term and having explain it to people. It was so sad.

I live in idaho. It is the worst state for healthcare. I have health conditions that ensure any pregnancies would be high risk, with a good chance of miscarriage. I'm doing everything I can to change this for you and all people. I'm contacting liberal organizations to see what volunteer options I can do. Ghastly! That was extremely brave of Debbie Reynolds to discuss those pregnancies. She was a great entertainer and a great American. I met a woman a few years ago who had a third trimester fetus die in utero. She was very poor and on Medi-Cal, so the doctor wouldn't evacuate her uterus because the procedure wasn't covered. We have to remember how much women, especially poor and working class women, will suffer under a Trump administration. A lot of these Evangelical and Catholic activists, who would be shoveled into key positions in government, are even against birth control!
So if there is such a thing as a "heart beat" law, in that if the fetus has a as not having a heart beat, you are not allowed to abort it, then wouldn't the baby dying inside the mother count as not having a heart beat?

The law needs to be that Congress shall make no laws regarding the biology, health, and medical needs of humans. Only the AMA, CDC, FDA and your healthcare provider can make recommendations, not laws, regarding human health. No man or government should have power over your bodies biology/ medical health. Prohibition of any kind does not work, it only creates a black market for those products and services. History has proven this over, and over again.

I live in idaho. It is the worst state for healthcare. I have health conditions that ensure any pregnancies would be high risk, with a good chance of miscarriage. This would leave me dead or in prison. My spouse and I want kids, but becausre our government insists on lracticying medicine without a license, we are unable to have them.
I'm doing everything I can to change this for you and all people. I'm contacting liberal organizations to see what volunteer options I can do. I hope others do too because there are too many things dire to the outcome of this election, and we can totally win! Things will get much better when we get enough decent progressives elected to fix things.

OBGYNS are evacuating Idaho like it's the sinking Titanic. Maternity wards are closing due to staffing problems. We are watching as civilization falls apart in the microcosm.
Women are having to be life flighted out of Idaho for this very thing. The state, or the legislators themselves, should be forced to pay for that air ambulance ride and all of the costs associated with her family having to travel back and forth, motels, etc.

Ghastly! That was extremely brave of Debbie Reynolds to discuss those pregnancies. She was a great entertainer and a great American. I met a woman a few years ago who had a third trimester fetus die in utero. She was very poor and on Medi-Cal, so the doctor wouldn't evacuate her uterus because the procedure wasn't covered. We have to remember how much women, especially poor and working class women, will suffer under a Trump administration. A lot of these Evangelical and Catholic activists, who would be shoveled into key positions in government, are even against birth control!
So if there is such a thing as a "heart beat" law, in that if the fetus has a as not having a heart beat, you are not allowed to abort it, then wouldn't the baby dying inside the mother count as not having a heart beat?
Why is the government telling women what to do with their bodies?!
