Im a woman and I took oz (minimal dose) with my 5 workouts / week routine. I lost 10lbs in less than 2 weeks. I went to a depression for 1 month. I almost 💀 myself. I tried to hide it but my little kids saw I wasn’t ok and they worried for me. They were so anxious. I stayed alive because I have kids. But I wasn’t myself. This med impacts the brain !!!
My weight is back, more than what I lost, but my kids are happy when I’m happy.

I’m so sorry u went through that! Glad you stuck around!🩷 pro tip: cut our refined sugars and unhealthy carbs. & intermittent fasting!
Today is only 3 days I’m down 6 lbs!
& I haven’t even cut out all bad carbs. Last night I ate spaghetti noodles, and lost 2 lbs over night still. lol. My issue is/was my addiction to sugar! I gained 20 lbs in 2 months! 😬 because I’d eat only ice cream haha! I’ve done this before also, and always feel on top of the world! The energy is insane! Also, exercise doesn’t help weightloss much, it’s all in the kitchen.

Call me crazy, but in a few years, I foresee late night legal advertisements about this medication. Definitely not enough studies with regard to prescibing this to non-diabetics in my opinion.

You’re nota alone! I did it for a month and I had the worst experience. Fatigue to the max, chest pains, short of breath going up the stairs, irritability, depressed feelings, body aches, insomnia, bitter taste in my mouth constantly, nausea, basically at my wit’s end! .25 milligrams left me out of wack! This is not for me, and I’m better off with intermittent fasting to help go through menopause. Thank you for bringing it up! 😘

But my Dr. Said patients around the globe are also complaining about blurred vision. Its defenantly Not a cure all. For sure! Ty 4 sharing!❤

Blood sugar impacts eyesight. Diabetics can lose their vision. So you are in an imbalance and need to adjust to get to the right levels of insulins. Your doctor not knowing this is scary.

I’m actually really GLAD that you opened up about this topic and were so honest and vulnerable. I think it paints a realistic picture of what many people do experience using this drug, and considering how little the public knows about it, this is super helpful. I doing think it came across as promoting it at all. I know that for me, as someone who is very much overweight but who struggles with depression, anemia, and severe gastrointestinal issues, I could never try Ozempic because it would be too dangerous for me. But I could see how someone without my health issues could benefit from it. Thank you for your openness and honesty!

As a physician I would not recommend this drug unless one seriously needs it to survive as there are a lot of side effects and being a fairly new drug, we do not know all the long-term side effects which seem pretty serious but not enough data. Unless you are morbidly obese you are not going to die faster than any drug even then many overweight people are actually healthy though I must stress that it is best to be at a heathy weight. Having said all that, I commend you and appreciate your honesty and not encouraging people to take this drug. That says a lot about who you are. Honesty is hard so good for you and do not change that as it is a very rare great quality and you sure have that.👋

No carbs or sugar is very similar to a healthy Keto Diet! Having dealt with sugar/carb “addiction”. I can tell you that once those addictive foods are out of your system, you tend not to crave them. When I tried to reintroduce them to my diet. I honestly just didn’t like the effects they have on my body and chose to continue to do without them. Even after quitting Keto

Paulina…I struggle with the same diagnosis you have. I began Mounjaro in January, and I am now down 55 pounds. However, I also have mental health issues and have taken medication for years, as well as counseling. I have also had a decline in my mental health since taking the medication 😢. I would say it’s getting better…but 🤷🏻‍♀️. I guess the benefits have outweighed the mental health side effects. I see my doctor for my mental health often…so, they are monitoring me. Proud of you sweet girl! Keep your head up…keep going. You look fantastic, but, even more you feel better. I have also gotten off my blood pressure meds because of this medication…🤷🏻‍♀️. I am continuing to take it…so hopefully it stays in the positive direction for us both.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😘😘

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and being so open about it! As with many drugs, they will affect everyone differently. I was on Ozempic for 20 weeks and now Wegovy 18 weeks. Yes I've had the headaches, nausea, but they have been manageable. I started at 268 pounds and now 218 and still going. Now, for the nausea I take Zofran and it helps so much, the headaches only come when I don't eat enough, my menstrual is still here but instead of 7 days I go 4. Other than that. I absolutely love it and am so grateful for my Dr prescribing it to me. I have 50 more pounds to go. Im sorry the medicine didn't work for you😢. Im glad you at least took a chance.

Thanks! Good on you, this is a PSA! I wondered why this became so ubiquitous and people need to know it's not a joke to put chemicals in your body unless it's to save your life. Re: your last comment, you are a beautiful lady who looks good with or without your skilled application of makeup.

I really appreciate you putting it out there, I've been on it for well over a year now, on it to better balance my blood sugar levels, but also lost 56 lbs. But the journey is a hard one....the side effects for me have been horrendous, unbelievable vomiting and diarrhea, uncontrollable...it ruined the Christmas weekend, and I stopped it for a while, started it again today, I did speak to my diabetes. Nurse, so we decided to restart me on the .25mg dose....was fine to start with...then the side effects were intolerable, so I stopped it after Christmas, started it again today because I want better blood sugar results, and of course it gave me a boost losing weight....l am now afraid of taking it....and afraid of not taking it....I wish you all the very best.❤

Was on it for almost a year only lost about 25 pounds. Went from a size 16 to a 10. I also went on a carnivore diet ( Thanks to Dr. Ken Berry) got off my meds for diabetes . yes tired all the time, grouchy and weak being on ozempic. I got off it because I am afraid of getting cancer. It did awesome with lowering my sugar level.

Hi Paulina! I have not watched your channel before, but saw this entry on your experience with ozempic and got curious. Thank You for your sincere and thoughtful review of your journey with this drug. It is most helpful and important as user experiences are important and matter a lot. I am struggling with weight gain due to menopausal changes in the body and have been considering trying the version of ozempic that is solely made for weight loss which I think is called wegovy or something like it that is just being released in my country. I don’t know in what way they differ exactly as they contain the same substance. But my guess is the side effects are probably similar if not he same. I have heard nobody talk about these things - why I very much appreciate your candour about it!!
I am also glad for your sake that you have despite the difficulties using this drug had very good results! 25 kg in such a short time is amazing and pretty much unattainable any other way I think…
My questions to you since you did not bring it up and that I would be very happy if you could share some insight on in some way in another video or here if you happen to read this is if you are still on the medication now? And if so are you noticing any changes in the side effects as in has the nausea or the mental state or the fatigue stabilised or normalised in any way along the way? Or does these side effects stay constant throughout the use? Also how severe is the nausea? And equally the fatigue - can you sort of function despite these side effects or do they incapacitate you completely? And does anything in this regard change over time as your hormones stabilise in a new way, a k a do the side effects lessen or do they hang on? And if you have quit using it? How has that effected you in regards to the side effects? And also does the cravings and metabolism change back to its old self again or do the changes hang in there?
I would be very thankful if you could take the time to elaborate a bit more on this subject either in one of your videos or here. As it would be very helpful for me to know as I am considering trying it out.
All the best to you and Thank You again for sharing your experiences! ❣️

Hej Paulina, nie mogłam się doczekać tego filmu. W końcu się pojawił. Też zaczęłam brać Ozempic mam Pcos i IO i problemy z tarczyca.

Very interesting video and thanks for being so open about it! Also important to mention is that you have to be on Ozempic &Wegovy for the rest of your life in order to maintain its benefits. As soon as you stop, it is very, very likely that you ll gain back all the weight and it can make your insulin resistance even more severe than before.

Paulina, thank you so much for sharing your story! Human beings are so complex, and we are all different. Maybe the “majority” of people can tolerate this drug, but there are so many who cannot. My doc has tried so many diabetes drugs on me, but I haven’t been able to tolerate them. Either they give me kidney problems or exacerbate my major depression. Can’t spend another day feeling suicidal. Diet change not working. My meds that are 100% necessary cause weight gain. Still hoping for the right answer.
Also, for those of you out there that are too young to remember the “phen-fen” diet craze, look it up. Yes, it worked, yes there were lawsuits, yes there were deaths, yes it was taken off the market, in 1995. Ozempic may also be too good to be true.
