The First Bosch Battery Powered Hammer Drill, 1984
Вставка
- Опубліковано 12 жов 2020
- I am very lucky to own this tool. It is a 36-year-old cordless power tool. I was amazed with all the mechanics inside, the device was perfectly designed. When I googled "the world's first battery-powered hammer", the Bosch GBN 24 VRE Professional was the answer.
I made this video because I was curious to see the mechanics inside this tool and share it with you.

Sir, this is first time u r telling every spare parts name. Please continue. 👍👍👍👍
0:44 true quality of Bosch 😂
Love the fact that you labeled all the components and parts you do a great job as always!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed this video.
I love watching you repair power tools and sometimes modifying the batteries. Good luck with all the restorations and thanks for the awesome videos 👍👌

Rotary drill on a chuck adapter to drill through the timer slats, nice work😅
Excelente video, quedo muy bien esta herramienta luego de realizarle el mantenimiento, saludos y felicitaciones desde Venezuela.
¡Hola Venezuela! ¡Gracias! Me alegro de que te guste.
Blue color is high-end Bosch tools, those have very long lifetime. Green-colored Bosch is disposable, but blue-colored Bosch can be refurbished and sold in expensive price.
Wow, I never know about this. Thank you so much for sharing!
Not exactly true, Blue is the professional line for heavy duty work, Green tools are more like DIY or everyday use.
A drill??!?!? I thought you guys had already repaired 'em all ! Any broken Jigsaws out there?
I am vietnames
I really like you 🇻🇳❤️
Thank you so much :) I'm so glad to hear that.
I can imagine Thanos doing this saying “I use the tools to destroy the tools”

#funml
nice.....
Best of luck
It is going to last another 36 years. Wow.
How many drills and driver have you ever repaired?
Thanks for your videos
Yes, it is. I never count them it around 70. Anyway thank you!
i would never get all this back together again. not even with having a video recording of the disassembly
Believe in yourself first, than try it.
Ah man I binned one of these ;0)
Hi , appreciate your videos. What Lithium cells did you use for this repair?
You're welcome! I use 3C lithium battery 18650 3200mAh 3.7V. If you can find 10C to 20C it will be batter.
If to charge the li-ion batteries with the bms pcb you only need to connect them to + and - terminals, why do you need to upgrade the charger? Just wondering because I have some batteries I want to upgrade but I still need to be able to charge the old ones that I don't upgrade right away. Great restoration!
Good video - thanks. I have the same drill but the battery is waning. Is there a battery replacement company you can recommend?

Can I buy it again?
Sir from where you have taken this training of restoration or this is your hobby because it's my hobby also
Hi. I am impressed with your work! Can you write me what batteries did you use? Greetings from Poland.
Nie wiem.
10:01 wat? Where is a grease before placing the piston??
exactly, this rubber gasket wont last long
Actually a thick oil is recommended by bosch
Where did you get this charger? I can not find 4A nowhere, only 2A.
Are you sure it's model 1984??
I got the information from Google.
I have same tool Can it be run directly from the current?
3:10 im always like; where the hell its from?
Dnd as conseguido la bateria ??
7:21 Perfect
Thank you!
9:30 hammer drill design is shocking.
What about the maximum current allowed by the BMS? How many amps is it?
This BMS is 6S60A. It can drain current up to 60A depend on battery cells.
@@gear_show Motor has transient current, so 60 Amps it can handle only few seconds, long continuous current should be approximately 12 Amps.

Гугел в помощь. Я свою купил на радиорынке, правда она маленькая и такая банка в нее не влезет.

Where you live and please show your face in up coming video
I would like to see a genius
I live in Cambodia. Thank you so much 😁
The drill Seems pretty weak compared to the newer one's. Seems tragic to cut out the 36 year old German electronics to replace it with an off the shelf general purpose charger that looks like it won't last.
🇪🇨👍🏻
So.... you use a drill to remove the screw of the drill noice
13:53
You obviously did something wrong because its spinning on the wrong axis
It's just the reverse switch
I'm the 3rd comment! What do I win!? ( edit: 5th comment )

4:50 you really want to abuse poor delicate parts. You can do this to children but not to such sensible parts!
