Not seeing community servers in cs2 is a big no-no for me. They've been in CS since day one. I also started playing CS:GO on XBOX back in 2012. Over the years the wheel menu really grew on me. Gotta admit though; the new menu isn't bad, it's just so different.
The new menu is better wth. Just click and chose what you want. Simple as that.
New menu is so easy I can buy in the last like 1 second of time
also the team deathmatch mode, cs2 doesnt have TDM instead it has FFA deathmatch which is so bad it spawn you right in the middle on 3 people where you die as soon as you take first step

1 year after csgo came out they dropped skins which changed the game in a HUGE way... interested in what they cook up for the 1st year of cs2
it would make sense that in your lobbys you don't encounter new players, they're in my lobbies with other new people or people who just aren't as good

i miss community server, idk if valve kill it in csgo but i wasnt able to find any populated server back in 2021/2022 or could it be just nobody's play it on SEA server..
One thing i hate the most in cs2 premiere mode is that you can draw after getting overtime, so you play longer for eventually getting nothing out of it or even losing something, such a waste of time

and cheaters man im either getting cheaters lobby or high elo lobby and my teammates are basically shit my aim just got worse bec of the matches im getting
agreed. hate the draw system in premier. happened twice in two back to back games for me and a few friends, felt like a giant waste of time. at least if we lose or get completely shit on, it's usually over pretty quick and we can just move on to the next match.. to end up going into over time only to draw with no definitive winner is pretty lame, like 40 minutes wasted for nothing in return.

The guns now are way to accurate when walking. You don't have to counterstrafe anymore just hold A or D and swing.

@@07Hawkeyeunless he’s talking about Mac 10 and mp9, but I feel like I’m on the receiving end of what’s he saying it genuinely looks like some people don’t stop to shoot and they still get a 1 tap head. I just jog it down to animations or or weird latency issues. Whatever it is I’m sure they’ll fix it but ye. Oh and I read your comments earlier and I would say CS2 is my first REAL counter strike experience but that’s just because I only ever goofed off in csgo. Me and my friends have been playing it a bunch lately learning smokes and other made lineups and strats. It’s been super fun and I hope to grow my experience and knowledge with the game. And I’ve tried playing Valorant and it was never my thing. I was a HUGE Siege guy with over 2,000 hours on console and another 1,500 on PC my personal favorite next to the Halo games imo. And I think I’ve been enjoying CS so much because it feels like a mix of the 2 games. I’ll explain more of it more but that’s only if you’re interested.
As a newer CS-GO player (started playing a few months before CS2 was announced) danger zone is awful, quite possibly the worse game-mode they've ever made. Servers filled to the brim with b-hop script kids, aim-locking onto you from across the map hitting nothing but head. "Oh well, it was just a bad lobby, wanna try another?" I say to my friend.. We load into another game and its the same thing, over and over, every game. The people cheating had 5 and 10 year coins too, makes no sense to me. It was almost like DZ didn't even have an anti-cheat enabled. They were so blatant, got reports by multiple people in the lobby other than me and my friend (I know because they commented on his profile also) and still no ban. Yes, we had prime accounts too. We liked the concept of the game-mode, and wanted to play it more, but its virtually impossible because cheaters literally OWN that game-mode. I never seen anybody talk about the cheaters on there too, could just be a new CSGO account thing. How do you expect new players to keep playing DZ if that's the experience you get every game?
I'm a super casual CS player but i want Cache back, favorite map by far, and we're still missing a lot of maps
Anyone who plans to get to lv10 it takes 100h+ if you want to get there as quick as possible took me close to 2weeks+ of playing 6h+ so play for your weekly bonoues and wait another week

i died behind walls all the time even in csgo
2 other reasons: ping and camera placement. You can be partly exposed without your vision being able to see around a corner.
Subtick makes it that what you see happens, when you die behind wall enemy player clicked mouse button at the moment they saw you but until the server process that and it happening is small delay once you are behind wall you get killed but at the moment that enemy player clicked he saw you and was aiming at you. Same thing happens other way around you kill people behind wall but you dont know about that happening sometimes you can kinda see it happening that you kill someone behind wall.

You can't compare launches, standards are different. Especially if you DELETE the best game made.
you can still download and play csgo in the same way 1.6 and source are still playable today.

@@6BEEP9 yes you can play multiplayer (on community servers like every other cs game) and it will always be available so you can watch demos. there's even a build of csgo from 2013 still available you can play so that you can watch the very old demos.

im new to CS pretty much entirely. i had CSGO forever but literally only got it to gamble on cases like 8 years ago. other than that, i played cs source when i was a kid back in like 2004 and i was like 8 at the time so i wasnt good at all. so for me this is my first counter strike experience ive taken seriously and its been a steep learning curve but i enjoy it. coming from games like Tarkov which ive been playing for YEARS now as well as competitive warzone, actually won a few tournaments and made some money, it's a great experience. ive dabbled in premier and got my rating, im 3700 which isnt great but considering i started this game about 3-4 weeks ago, i'd say that's genuinely not that bad. im not great but i will definitely improve. knowing how i progressed through both tarkov and warzone, starting as a rat and becoming the level 60 chad who smokes everyone on reserve and jumping into battle royales coming from casually playing pubg into full blown try hard in warzone to make some money... i can do this. most of the friends i play with come from thousands of hours of csgo and have taught me a shit ton already but i was on a comp nuke game last night and talking to my team of randoms, 2 of the other guys in my game were also brand new to CS with CS2 being their first real counter strike experience so it's definitely not unheard of. i think it's going to bring alot of new players over time, what was the average player count on csgo daily? because the average player count on CS2 daily is 700k, cant imagine the player count for csgo a few months ago was 700k
Love this take! Glad to see you're joining Cs2, but the daily players were around 600-700k daily. The numbers are actually down right now cause people aren't liking cs2 at all😭 but I believe the real number will be 850-900k daily😤
i will say in addition to my comment about being new to the game nad what not, some more casual games would be nice. it's either 10v10 hostage or 10v10 classic bomb, nothing else. one of the very few game modes i ever even played in csgo the few times i played it was gun game because i just wanted to mess around and waste some time and it was fun. would be nice to see a few more gamemodes especially all the ones ive never experienced before. im too new to continuously play comp and premier just to be berated by people who have thousands and thousands of hours and cannot wrap their feeble minds around someone being new to the game.

I would not be fine with kernel anti cheat since it fcks up my windows . makes my boards forget on which board windows is installed on and made me lose years of files just because it can confuse your motherboard
It is not perfect and has to be tested on but it can be extremely dangerous for custom build computers
People are way too impatient, if the game didn't turn out well, they have to fix it first, that's the priority. It's not like they've gone quiet, we get updates every week
I thought valve were the impatient ones considering they gave themselves a deadline, missed the deadline, and then fully released an unfinished game with barely any content from the game they removed.

But they are doing a superb job at updating their game regularly and quickly unlike games like Halo infinite, Cyberpunk, and even OW2. I’m not saying it’s right for games to launch in the state that they did, but Valve is doing a good job.

comparing a new release of a game from 10 years ago vs a release from now is already not fair. + CS:GO wasnt made by Valve when it released, CS 2 is made by Valve. The releases cant be compared. CS 2 shouldve been a way better release
game is still incomplete beta, they just dont call it anymore. it will be complete when it has all the features CS GO had, but now, its not even close.
Valves actual priority atm is to fix the skins and not the Game btw he was wrong to say that skins generate money and people have been complain about skins as much as game but only one of them is Priority and its not the game play WHERE THE F*** is LEFT HAND or cleardecals

We hoped for a engine port WITHOUT any changes. Same light, same smokes, same maps.
We got a whole new game with new systems and everything. We already got more than we begged for.
I also believe that having a operation while alot of buggs and glitches accure, we wouldnt be able to enjoy the operation.
The operation needs to come when the game runs smooth.

Es ohnepixel, kann verstehen warum du etwas mad bist wegen dem Release. Aber, bitte vergesse nicht das CS2 ein komplett neues Spiel auf einer neuen Engine ist. Das bedeutet das alles was wir bisher haben, komplett neu aufgebaut werden musste.
Man kann bei solchen Entwicklungen nicht einfach copy - Paste machen, die waffen, Maps, Texturen und auch die ganzen Assets mussten neu gemodelt/baut werden. Was wesentlich mehr Zeit in Anspruch nimmt, als die meisten denken. Daher, finde ich das das Release von CS2 bisher sehr gut ist. Auch wenn VALVE eine Menge Geld hat, kann man Talent leider nur begrenzt kaufen. Und die Entwickler haben wirklich sehr gut abgeliefert.

For me CS2 already won by:
1. Porting all skins over and not destroying community market
2. Better smokes
3. Way better graphics with good manageable performance. I thought I would be unable to play CS2 on my old gen PC.
See for me that’s why they lost. They added like three things but removed a ton of content where it’s definitely an unfinished game even tho it’s supposed to be a “full official release”

Then rocket league got destroyed by Epic games which again on 5 December is going to kill community trading (horrible decision).

Alteast what valve did has a hope for future (missing content but will release eventually) except don't know about future of Danger Zone. I hope they bring that back better than ever.

To my understanding Yes, but Valve is way more responsive. Blizzard would come out with a patch every month, with it being the same as 2 of Valves weekly updates or even less than that. But that’s to my understanding, and it’s kinda why the game flopped, plus they never added the content they said they were going to. We’re still a little early in the life of CS2 to see

Literally the three main problems from CS:GO have carried onto CS2, the game is unplayable in Europe.
1. Hacking - Hacks are still very easy to get on CS2, at the same price as CSGO skins. All of the CSGO cheating sites already have an undetected CS2 version.
2. Russians - We need to give Russians their own servers, where only Russians can play and not allow Russians to VPN while playing CS. They ruin the game for the entire Europe region.
3. 64 Tick Matchmaking - Nothing more to be said. We needed this, we didn't get it.
New Problems
1. No Community Servers - This needs to be sorted ASAP, nothing else needs to be added around this. We NEED Community Servers.
2. Shotguns. I'm sure we have all tried shotguns on CS2, there is no denying that all of the shotguns are extremely OP at the moment. Almost as bad as the Day 1 R8 Revolver.

New buy menu is ass, like i cant have all the weapons. In CS GO (good game), you only choose between like CZ and Revolver, but now its like 10 weapons gone. You just dont pick bad guns, because they re waste of your loadout, so why are they in the game if 99% people are not using them? In CS GO, you would buy M249 when you re winning 12-2 for trolls, but now, why would you use it in your loadout? You ve got shotguns and pms or even negev to chose from? The same with PP Bizon, why would you pick it, if not for the trolls. So Im asking, why is it in the game? Give me CS GO back, not this valorant ahh game with random recoil, bad movement, bugs and glitches

I’ve already said this in another comment thread but Valve is doing an amazing job actively working with the community and getting the fixes and updates pushed out rather quickly, especially when you look at Halo infinite, Siege, and OW2. Valves response is pretty good compared to other developers out there today. And if want to take a look at something like battlefield 4 and how that games launched. And now look at it it’s a classic, no matter how you want to look at it, it’s still a new engine and there’s going to be issues, bumps, and bruises. But with time it’ll get fixed.
