Paid skins are for noobs. Whoever played CS 1.6 and used to download skins for free from community forums knows that. That's why it was indeed the golden age of CS.

I mean Valve sets the Case Parameters tho so they decide how often certain skins roll. They maybe dont set prices in stone on the marketplace but they do give incentive to sell diffrent skins at diffrent prices. People will naturally assign each Skin value relative to rarity. If knifes would roll more often they wouldnt be worth as much. same goes for blues as well..l if they wouldnt roll so commonly they would be priced a bit higher. The System makes it seem like the people have a free choice about prices but thats not really the case. Sell for too much and people will literally just ignore your offer or sure sell cheaper than everyone else which is a form of free choice but in this case you just screwing yourself over so that doesnt really count.

I grew up with CS (talking about early 2001...yes I'm old😅), playing in Internet cafes, I started playing less frequently when I had Internet access at home, got a PS3 and started playing CoD 4 and onward but after MW2019, which was a good, I felt disappointed with the franchise and decided to invest in a PC gaming specs (best investment ever) and started again with CS:GO, a thing about CS is that it's incredibly easy to learn how to play the game but a lifetime to master, it's balanced and still fun, CS2 is incredible and has an amazing community (not always of course 😅), I still play CoD but CS is my main now and I managed 5o reconnect with some old CS 1.6 time friends and yes I still jump in 1.6 from time to time and when other shooting game die overtime you can still find thousands of 1.6 full servers and that's the beauty and simplicity of CS
