I'm surprised Tom doesn't have a million subscribers. I look forward to every new video and enjoy watching his older ones. Will we ever get to see Phil? Is he 6' 10"? Tom's videos make me want to live in NYC.
I agree, i just subscribe myself😉
He will have the same slow build and eventual “wow, he has x million subs” as Wendover Productions. It will just take time.
I agree I'm glad I found Tom's channel 👍
Let's wish a million people good luck!😉❤️

Tom is one of the few NYC walking tour guides on UA-cam who knows what he's talking about. Also very entertaining.
It brings me joy when Tom post videos,,, I pray your channel continues to grow
Tom: You walked right past my house where I have lived for the last 39 years. And yet, throughout the whole video you were able to provide 100x times more information that I ever could have about my own neighborhood. Thanks so much!
Tom is the best! He should have 10 million subscribers!
So correct that you'll dump more information on us than anyone else. Couldn't agree more and I love it! Keep at it Tom.
Hello 142 /150 again from Canada 🇨🇦! So happy you have over 12K subscribers!! Keep these great vids a-coming, Tom!!
Great video pal. Very insightful! Keep up the good work
Sick plug:I actually saw you filming this.....was getting something too eat at Heights Falafel...great content as usual.
Ha! You should have said hi!
Yes, Tom bring us the happyness, not many UA-camrs can do that.
I love the beautiful old buildings in this area 😊 And what would a Tom D video be without a healthy splash of self-deprecating wit?! You always crack me up. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺
You're too funny! Thanx for all the info and fun facts. Adios Tom & Phil. ✌🤟👍
Hi Tom. So much info as per usual but it's in a form that's easy to handle. Cheers from Sydney, Australia
Awesomeness! Loving your guerrilla / gorilla (Phil?) operation, you guys! Keep bringing on the historical & hysterical urban facts & legends, Tom! And I love it when Phil the mystery man goes: solid. Loving those short-ish clips with SO much content & fun. And seriously need to come back to Brooklyn!
I subscribed right after he said “find anyone else who’s going to make videos with this much information.” legend!
Thanks a lot for the amazing new video, it's a joy to connect youtube and see that there is a new video of yours, you made my Sunday 🥇😉
You’re so funny! I was looking for my son while you walked as he lives on Clark st
No tour gives more information than yours. Really quite awesome!
my favourite neighbourhood Cranberry Street house from Moonstruck ❤️
Wow! What an exciting walk! The place is awesome and amazing! Brooklyn Heights is such a nice neighborhood! Thank you so much for sharing this wonderfully made video! Keep up the good work! :)
Extremely expensive neighborhood.
I love learning about NYC from you! Thanks Tom!!!
*Your videos are brilliant, Tom!* I love the quality of content. Once again, you did a fantastic job, guys!!! Btw. 0:44 you're quite right! lol Greetings from the EU!
I had a close friend who lived on Henry Street in the 70's - he was a fashion photographer from Italy. Spent many afternoons eating home made pasta with fresh basil and cannoli's on Henry Street - good red wine and a joint.
Thank you so much! I lived in Carroll Gardens in the early 90’s, opened the Fall Cafe on Smith at Union and would walk to the promenade at night to clear my head. I was jonesing to see this neighborhood so I’m very grateful. Thanks again.
Welcome to my neighborhood😊. Thanks for the history... just moved in this neighborhood.
Love the tours Tom. X
The Brooklyn Historical Society used to have on exhibit the actual set from THE HONEYMOONERS with the actual furniture that went with it.
You are the best! Consider always introducing yourself as an aspiring comedian and actor so folks will more appreciate your fun sarcasm and zippy humor - I believe you’ll get way more subscribers... everyone loves to be connected to a comedian! Thank you so much for your great knowledge and work!
Absolutely brilliant channel. Tom is my favourite out of all of the New York guides. Thank you, Tom for all of your hard work and knowledge, much love from the UK.xx
Your videos are awesome ! I will be in NYC next week 🔥🔥🔥
There’s just enough muscle tension in that t-shirt at the beginning of the video. Good capture, Phil.
Beautiful neighborhood, great tour! Saludos!!
I’ve learned so much about NYC from Tom, maybe it wasn’t a good idea to follow your channel cause there won’t be any surprises when I come for the first time 🤣🤣🤣 ❤️🗽🍎🇺🇸
There will always be surprises :)
@@SimplyDeeBeauty 🙃
Mr. Delgado you always show great respect when you point out the beautiful buildings of the great religions.
As a man of faith I deeply appreciate that attitude in this day & age.
Keep up all the great work you do for others with your very entertaining & informative channel.
Great video!
I heard about your channel from Mark Normand on We Might Be Drunk, the podcast he does with Sam Morril. I immediately paused the pod to come check it out and it is fantastic! As a little kid in Salt Lake City I would go to the library and check out as many books about NYC that I could find. I've always been fascinated by its sheer scope and history. I stare at maps for hours on end trying to memorize where everything is relative to well known landmarks, even doing things like pausing Brooklyn Nine-Nine to get a look at the map that hangs in their bullpen, with Prospect Park at the bottom right.
Anyhow, I look forward to watching all of your clips! Keep it up, they're cool as hell.
I love the Bob James track: 'Brooklyn Heights Boogie'. Cheers from London!
Outstanding walking tour!!!
Love that very devirse... Alot of Irish, Italian and German married... I would be talking about Chicago, suburbs too. The next generations, it's very cool, my cousins are next generation Irish, Italian and German... Loads of mix in my family, I'm Irish, English, Welsh but I did my heritage test and we are 1.6 percent Jewish! Now I'm very interested in that, where did it come from, love history
Very nice interested video, thank you, and a new subscriber you have😉🥰 greetz from the Netherlands😃
Just finished reading "The Great Bridge" by David McCullough. Highly recommend.
That book is amazing!
@@tomdnyc1 could u please do where Sylvester Stallone was not so famous I think he was holding out for his script on the lord of "Flatbush" n he was supposed to ezist by living somehow at the Greyhound bus station or a washroom type setup @grand central station ..the way I remember hearing could u maybe show that area where he filmed that movie etc tom?
my sentiments exactly lol 8:25Im glad Phil put his foot down too 13:01 Seriously though, had no idea there were that many historical buildings left in Brooklyn. Thanks tomdnyc
Thank you for your videos! You know sooooo much!!!!!
Just wanna come here early and thank you and your wonderful knowledge, because I'm broke af and cannot travel to NYC or elsewhere tbh... But yeah you're amazing
Another great post.
So glad your videos popped up in my recommendation tab. New subbie here!
how do you know so much about very specific niche things about every building in every tour you make?? these are so informative it's amazing really!!! how do you not have like millions of subscribers??
You and Phil are a great team! Both funny and talented!
Amazing story. Thanks
Always so great to visit you. Please continue to make videos. They are very good, and I enjoy your journeys very much.
Hey, Tom. I love your videos and your videos with Sarah also. You're looking good with your hair longer and the beard.
The best tour of Brooklyn Heights thanks 👍
Please do a video on the shows and movies in which you have appeared.
❤❤ somebody's going to afford to help Tom out cuz this is awesome Tom
This is almost the best thing on UA-cam. I’m going to tell everyone in my village to subscribe to your channel
Thanks guy/ this was helpful
What’s up brother Tom I absolutely love your channel. I can sit and watch your vids all day and I have actually done this as a matter of fact. You honestly really do teach me things I did not know about my home town. I am from Brooklyn (W’Burg) but live in Philly where I am a Philly police officer. My family left BKLYN in 88. Anyway I was wondering if you ever considered making some vids here in Philly, which I’m sure you kno is filthy rich with history. I would love to be a part of it maybe hold the camera for you film for you 🤷🏽♂️
Except….. I…. Don’t have a camera.😢
But I do have an iPhone 😂.
Anyways brother, love, peace n hair grease. ✌🏾
OMG those 3 letters sum up Mr T.s super duper tour vids.
Very best part of the video is when he says "let's go" then points in the opposite direction of Brooklyn Heights... lol
Awesome video sir! Have you done Times Square lately?
You are the best Tom!!! I just discovered you and love watching your videos .
Good stuff Tom !
Actually, many Europeans came to the US as the same time, because when the famine hit Ireland it didn't just hit Ireland, it hit the rest of Europe. That's when the majority of Germans and others from Europe immigrated to the US. It was bad in Scandinavia. My mother's family came over to the US from Norway, via Ellis Island at that time. A whole 1/3rd of my grandmother's town left at the same time. I can't even imagine nearly half of a community leaving. They didn't stay in NYC, but, like everyone else, they entered through NYC. I remember seeing the picture of her and her parents when she was 12 years old. My grandma was the strongest woman I've ever known. I loved her so much!
Another great video! You remind me of Adam Gontier from Three Days Grace. The video for Chalk Outline is walking through the streets of New York. Your channel will continue to grow, keep going!
Bill Wilson, co-founder of AA lived in a brownstone at 182 Clinton Street in the 1930s-40s.
Top tour Tom! (Sic name for a channel 🤪). Thoroughly enjoyable, as ever. I watched Sarah and yourself doing the ‘Founding of the U.S.A. Tour’ and think that my family would enjoy that 🙃😉. Everything revolves around COVID-19 but, following a few major operations on my favourite wife, I fully intend to get over there with my surprised wife and our family to do a tour. 🙏🏻🤞🏻🙏🏻. It might end up being a zombie tour where at the end of it some us have fallen into bits but, enjoyed it whilst we held it together 😷🤣🥴.
I can’t believe it’s so warm over there at the moment, from this side of the pond here in Brexitland 🏴 (England). 🤗🙃😉
Amazing. When are these going to be HUGE. I can't retain info from yesterday!! Jeeze!!
Such a 142 video... 😜 Great as always.
I checked out Phil's channel, heh
What he ate this time sitting on garbage bages? Seems he is enjoy what ever he does, this guy pocket may not filled with money, but he has an rich brain and very expressional face, Tom will be sucessful in whatever career he choose.
Tom is a intellectual guy, he doesn't like cursing
Wow great video and i like your charisma you make the topics so fun to listen to you have a great skill thank you so much as a fellow brooklynite i still learned so much .
I've lived in Brooklyn for over 30 years thinking it was a Native American word like "Manhattan". Holy shit, thanks for the knowledge Tom!
Thankyou for the history you give with your walks - I give history on my walks as well rather than walking and saying nothing. You are the best at this / keep going / love what you do - Jeff
Hey where is the link for Phil Channel
A little history of the preacher would have been cool (Cadman plaza)
Awesome videos! Keep it up you are very informative..love all the historical information.
I live here (across the street from the Standish) I actually learned a thing or two from this. Thanks!
Keep it up!! 👍🏼👍🏼
I am new feiend. Thank for sharing and stay safe.
The giant house at the corner of Remsen and Montague Terrace is where they shot Prizzi’s Honor. Arthur Miller and Marilyn Monroe lived in the carriage house on Willow Street
#3 Pierrepont - top of Montague - is where they filmed Prizzi's Honor
Nice!!!
Love the rats with wings that flew in your path
Loved the video, can you show in a next video 20 the mason mint building? I would love to hear more about it's history.
overwhelming 🙂 your simplicity is your charm towards success
You should start a podcast and make Phil your own Young Jamie. “Hey look this up Phil!” JRE
Your tours are so good keep it up
Tommy boy! My neighborhood!
I love all that you know, but damn you looking stacked in that T.
I went to college in that neighborhood and loved it
Hey Tom💕💕
You need to post more lol
I need someone to help me edit... for cheap!
@@tomdnyc1 i understand
His knowledge of NYC is very extensive
I like this guy and his info too!
7:29 that's me lol the blonde
If Phil doesn't know who Cher is... do you really think he knows the lyrics to the Bob Dylan song❤❤,,,😅
Had family that lived on Cranberry st. The view of Manhattan at night is one in a million
What was the benefit of the 5 boroughs becoming 1 city? It would just make it bigger and more difficult to govern.
Well, some of the smaller cities and villages got to benefit from NYC's infrastructure and $ and NYC benefited from a more streamlined and larger metropolis. It was a highly contested issue though.
Tom, you're still the best !
